Also, I can think as to how or why the bearing split, there is no strange side loads, the bearing slides in there easily, its almost like it was a defunkt part from the factory.

One thing I did notice was a bit of wear inside the AA output shaft cup where the output of the NV4500 bottoms out at the back of the cup. I measured very carefully how much shaft to chop off as per AA's directions so this was strange. I ended up taking a flap disc to remove a pinch more material. I added some gasket silicone goop in the back to help keep the flow of oil backwards limited, it was moving past the broken bearing and lubricating the pavement and my parking spot at the office.

A new clutch was ordered from valair in texas, for a stock clutch it was $270 US, but they had options all the way up over $1500 for upgrades.

Mopac in calgary's price was $600

Do you remember the part# on the airbags you're running?

mine are firestone 5405's, though I think there is a 5425 (not 100% sure on it) which is about the same with a longer bag/range of motion, which would work as well.

EDIT JAN 2023: MOVED TO BOSS AIRBAGS 2603 BAGS

It looks like the 5429 (couldn't find a 5425) has four more inches of "travel" ability with a slightly smaller footprint than the 5405. It also has an internal bumpstop.

That may be better for those more interested in articulation, I would highly recommend bumpstops external to the bags though, that is their achiles heel IMO.

I think Herb has them and runs them a pinch higher PSI, mine run about 55-60 in the front and 45-50 in the rear, his run 70-80 if I recall, this is due to the smaller foot print of course.

LOL NOPE! It came out. Down the road a ways I may purchase your billet mount or find a way to mount it but for now it's a lot easier to just not run AC. It's a play toy anyway, not a DD. I found a post in another thread (yours) where Cody mentions he is not running an AC compressor.

This is set up about how I would like to do my 92'.

I had a couple of questions...

Im assuming power is pretty nice, but what MPGs are you getting?

Anything you don't like about it, or if you were starting from scratch with a clean FJ80, what would you do different?

Another late response but, I would have gone with a full time case, and used better then middle of the run airlines and fittings.

It's on 38's now and enjoying the blizzard in calgary at the moment, :D

no AC compressor, I'll try and find some pics of the motor mounts,

Edit: not wanting to do a thread revival, but I created another thread (one ton swap in sig line below) where I swapped in one tons and went back to a full time t-case, if your looking for more info on the build.
