Hey...Where in the Atlanta area can you get a CO2 tank filled rather than swapped? All the welding shops want to swap and I have a nice new alum. tank. Has to be somewhere in the big city...Thanks, Brian

Thanks Bailey...I got another lead as well. I figure after a year or so offroad swapping will be an option but just hate to do it with a new tank. Thanks again...

FYI...I finally found a place to fill my tank rather than swapping. Actually swapped as they had a brand new one same as mine, brushed aluminum. They could have filled within 24 hours though. Praxair, Steve Reynolds and Indian Trails. (Actually slightly down Steve Reynolds from Indian Trails intersection) Very close to my office...FYI

You could also try a local store that sells paintball guns and equipment.
They refill the smaller Co2 bottles all the time Im sure the could refill any size. .

Anyone know of a good place to get a tank? I don't really want to shell out all of the $$$ for PowerTank or others when a good used tank will work.

Not really but it's nice if I want to fill tires with one take and run tools off the other.;p

HAHA yeah, I was trying to make you feel guilty and want to sell one. I saw several new looking alum. ones on ebay for about 75 BIN they were 10lb designated for

What's CO2? :)

You can try...they have been over Moab, Tellico, and most of SouthEast Asia and never popped yet. They are the contractor tanks, not some cheapie, and they are also almost 4 feet off the ground...not much to slap either since they ride up under the rear end a few inches.

Pointy rocks, meet tanks. Tanks, meet pointy rocks.

Oh, don't worry Dan, if someone can pop them, it will be you.

CO2 Tank refill or Swap

I get mine filled or swap from
SPECIALTY GASES SOUTHEAST
3496 Peachtree Parkway
Suwannee, GA

Not far from Windward Parkway. I think last time I got my 25# bottle filled it was $11. They do sell bottles, too. I go mine there since by the time I bought one from eBay and paid shipping it was gonna be about the same price as buying it from these guys. I think I paid about $80-90 for the bottle.
