Yea I might take it to my works machine shop and see what they can do for me.I would almost want to get the cracked one welded and keep as a spare. I wonder what he would charge just for that piece? I wouldn't mind having a spare. Wish I would have kept mine. Looking at it earlier it seems you could run a brace from the bracket to the head on the front but nothing on the rear side.
Even if he sold 100 housings and 2 failed it may seem like a small percentage but if you add up the miles for all of them it probably isn't good. I was around 7-8K when mine failed.
I have less than 2k miles on mine I think.
Man I need to keep a log of this stuff, I dont even remember what my mileage was when I did the conversion .

. When I get some free time I will try to pull out the switch and make it a momentary and try to rewire the dash light to work the way we need. might not get around to it for a while but at least I have a direction to go.\
