Had quite a few requests for club shirts at Gsmtr. Benke actually brought it up. Been a long time since we have done any club schwag. We have a good website to do it. So what do we want? Just the logo? Maybe we could come up with a back that would cover UC and LC and then do the different logos for the front? That way we keep the costs down.

I could have sold a ton of shirts and umbrellas last week. Lol.

Also could do some hats.

Give us some ideas.
 
Maybe a small TEQ on the left front breast. Or the alternate "Toyota Motor" TEQ logo. ~2 to 3 inches max. With a larger UC on the back. Grey shirt.

we could do a "from the mountains to the sea" theme on the back. A pic of the state w/ the logos in the state.
I agree, just a small front logo, though.
 
What if you did a split design on the back one half is half of the UC logo and the other side is half of the LC logo
 
I wouldn't mind the teq on the sleeve like the ACC shirts but I think it needs to be a small club logo on the chest with a larger graphic on the back. We dont really need seperate shirts either. I'd like to see one that has UC and LCLC. It would probably be good to get some artwork posted up here to see how everyone likes it so we don't have an issue like the GSMTR shirts.
 
I think we should do shirts for the club and then try and do them for the larger events. UC used to do this and if you get pre-orders and $ then its not expensive at all. I am sure Brady's in Anderson would love to do another few rounds of shirts for us. I did a run through them for my work last month and 3 colors total in 2 locations was in the $6.50 range for 40 or so. I think everyone would be up for shirts as long as they are in the $10 or less range which should not be a problem with pre-order and still give the club a little extra $ flow.
 
We probably can't support event prepaid preorders in a quantity that would put pricing anywhere near $10 or less. At that price with a hick-up or two the club would flirt with losing money.

I'd be happy with a club shirt that we could sell year round. Short sleeve is cheapest. I like my white UC shirt but white didn't last long.
 
My fav club shirt we've done was the OTMT from a few years ago with ONSC. I like the idea of the UC logo up front and an outline of the state on the back with a 40 on it (or a 62 incase we need to man it up some more). Similiar to that OTMT shirt.

I disagree, however I would be willing to listen to how UC would loose $ when members would prepay UC for shirts for 2 or 3 events a year. Set a minimum # of shirts to be ordered per event or we will not have a shirt order. If we can get ~20 per event we should be well below $10 unless we have tons of colors and print locations or we go long sleeve, etc. For some reason many seem to think that shirts are a high cost and charge for it, when in actuality they are an advertising tool and can be done at a very reasonable price. Who knows how many new memebrs we might be able to attract with some cool shirt designs.

I think all of us would be up for a few more Toyota, LC, and UC themed shirts, especially at an affordable price. I would be up for coordinating this if needed as I already have contacts at a shirt place. (I do not get a commision from them. They have been good to me with my work orders and they try to help me out on pricing for personal or other orders.)

UC doesn't have 2-3 annual events that can presell 20+ shirts a year. Heck, look at the numbers at GSMTR, maybe our largest club wheeling event next to OTMT and then the largest non-wheeling event, the Annual. The club events can't currently support that # of presells. Maybe in the future, but not now. The BOD has been working on a few things and couple that with a (hopefully) rebounding economy and events might get back to where they were attendance-wise five years ago.

And the problem with trying to presell shirts at near cost is the club makes peanuts and when the quantities aren't high enough to push production onward you end up with shot down members who can't get their shirts. Voila - one Tshirt design for UC solves that.

I'm pretty stoked to see the final design. From what I've seen it is going to be pretty cool and classy and will be sellable year round.

I would buy one if you would finally schedule a mountains to the sea run so I can actually do it :)
 
I think it would be cool to just have something classic like Upstate Cruisers across the chest, maybe with the TEQ logo as the circular part of the P. Clean and Simple, then if you wanted to do event specific stuff you could do that second logo on the back.
