I would say with the truck being my DD and carrying front and rear bumpers, winch, sliders, roof rack, full drawer system and fridge I'm right at that constant load mark.

And I do zero crawling. All off-road 'touring'

Hey Jason what is the progress on the tourflex kits? Can we start ordering?

Andrea and I will be headed to Australia in April for the 2017 Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge. Going to be nice to spend some time there. We'll be gone for about 3 weeks overall.

Wow, just saw like 10 vids... definatly hardcore that one is. YOUR GOING TO HAVE A GREAT TIME.

I have a tough dog rtc (return to centre) on my 60. best investment i made at about $120 aud. Obviously helps return the wheels to centre but took away all my bump steering issues.

I have multiple vendors to go see the first week and then cap the week off with the TDTT Challenge. Then the next 10-12 days is all R & R.

I like the Tough Dog options for the steering stabilizer.

Standard- EXT
Adjustable- SV
RTC- SS

I have several of each coming with my stocking order.

You got a screaming deal on the RTC... since it lists for 272.55 AUD.

Not such a good deal i just made a mistake was $220. Really should double check before posting. May get to meet you at tough truck or on your travels in aus. Feel free to shoot me any questions about places you may want to see do etc.

Yeah no worries. Its a pretty cool event. I was born and raised in the blue mountains if you are planning on doing the blue mountains let me know.

75mm (3") Medium and Heavy TourFlex springs will be here late Jan/early February -- 30 sets of each coming in.

Heavy springs are 300kg+ (660#+) 320/180 dual rate spring
Mediums are 0-300kg (0-660#) 250/170 dual rate spring

I can package these with a few different Tough Dog shock options as well as KING shocks as well.

Getting some pics and feedback on the 80 series 2" LIGHT kit with foam cell shocks.

@LS1FJ40 is loaded up on a cross country trip and sent some pics.

"I've run OME stock height springs and their 2" (really more like 3ish) IIRC, it was a LONG time ago. I purchased a 2" Tough Dog lift with dual rate springs and 41mm foam cell shocks. It is the best setup I have run in an 80. I could not be happier. I've run it empty and was impressed and am currently loaded to the gills (I'm guessing approx 800lbs in gear) and it rides like a dream.

I highly recommend them. I've purchased a fair amount of stuff from @reevesci and am thoroughly impressed by the quality of stuff he builds and sells."

I figure I have approximately 1000 lbs of "stuff" not including the humans. It is riding like a dream. And it has been a nightmarish drive. 60+ mph wind gusts. Mountain switchbacks. Rubicon (albeit only a mile or two). 2200+ miles so far.
