I've been doing some exploring up there and I can lead us on a cool trail to get us up there the back side utilizing FR400 off of RT.66

Onur,
We're always looking for new places for our snow runs. In years past we have done a New Years run and a Super Bowl run so you can have those dates if they work for you. Outside of those traditional dates we can do a late November run if they get good snow early in that area.

We're planning Farmington with Graham in late December. January and February are wide open so stake out a weekend and post up the details. It will be FUN!

yep, tree run is in Jemez for the cutting program, and we get people coming out of the woodwork on that run. close is good when we want to back before midnight.

absolutely set up a Taylor run beno. it's been many years since the club went up there.

I'll start looking into a winter run to Mt. Taylor.

My main issue is that my truck will be going down starting after the new year for a new short block which can take a bit knowing my work schedule.

I also have 2 1FZ head gasket jobs lined up for December and January. We'll see how it pans out.

Dec/Jan run

I might be up for a run late dec or January, need to try out the new lift. Spent today at the tundra/taco plant watching trucks get built. Fun stuff!!!!

Don't you have like 50 engines laying around so you can build and just swap without taking her offline?

Swypo'd from my droid using IH8MUD

WooHooo!

Beo's coming to Farm town!

I'll bump the farmington thread.

Well nevermind.....I'm out for the Tree run....Delta Xmas party is that night.

I will be available for recovery operations the next day for any FJCruisers and 80 series rigs with electrical issues.

You young f@rts have no sense of adventure. I'm going on the tree run and I have a Christmas party that night. What's the big deal???!!

I don't want to get stuck out there and not be able to make my Xmas party...

Then again, Mike, you do have a point.....maybe I'll reconsider....the night before.

Actually we're usually back before dark so making a nighttime party is not out of the question.

Hey Beno,
can i come take a look at your project? Dave here in santa fe suggested it would be good for me to learn. my flashlight holding skills are second to none and im a decent paper weight.

Sure. I won't be starting my block swap till after the Xmas Tree run. We can talk specifics then.

cool ! see you at the tree run

Are newbies welcome? :D

I'll try to make it on the 3rd. I work but dont have to be in till 6pm, and have options to be a little late.

Newbies are always welcome. And if I can ever make up my mind, there will be an alternative to the Dec. 3rd date.

I'm setting the alternative date as Nov. 27th, for those that cannot make it on the 3rd. So if anyone wants to join my family on Nov. 27th for a tree run, post it up. We'll go to the Jemez.
