Putting up my 1996 HZJ75 Troopy for sale. It’s got California title and plates, and yes, it’s smog exempt.

For anyone outside CA, it’s fully legal and can be registered anywhere.

For those in California, you know how hard it is to get one of these properly registered. Just the CA plate process alone can run you around $20k with all the import and compliance stuff. This one’s already done and 100% legit, so you’re skipping a huge headache and cost.

Never really planned on selling it, but life changes and I’ve got to relocate, so here we are.

Specs / Mods:
Ex Australia forest fire service truck. Super clean and solid. Always garaged and well taken care of.

-1HZ 4.2L Diesel

-Dual 90L Fuel Tanks

-Toyota OEM Fender Flares

-ARB Deluxe Bull Bar

-Warn ZEON 12-S Winch

-Triple-R Sentinel 9" Elite Lights

-KC 7" Gravity LED Headlights

-OZ Racing Route Rally Wheels

-Endless MX72 Brake Pads

-HEL Braided Brake Lines

-Bilstein B6 Shocks

-Dobinsons Leaf Springs

-Dobinsons Adjustable Monotube Steering Damper

-Thorburns (now Thor Offroad) Rear Bar

-Front Runner Slimline II Roof Rack

-Eaton Rear Locker

This is so far what I remember off the top of my head, it’s been a long road getting it to this point, so I’ll add to the list if anything else comes to mind.

Condition:
Runs great with no mechanical issues whatsoever. I’ve done a few road trips with it, sure, it’s not fast or fancy, but it’s always been rock solid reliable. The last part of my plan was to finish the interior and turn it into a world travel overlander, but with some recent family stuff going on, I’m relocating and sadly can’t bring it with me.

Heavy pic dump inbound...

Oh man, absolute dream vehicle right there. Seeing those OZ wheels on a troopy made my day. GLWTS, I’m sure it’ll make its next owner very happy.

Those wheels IMO are as OGLY as they get 🤪
