You are obsessing about things again..

You'll be fine.

So I opened up the frame hole where the lines run through the frame. Then realized that I wasn't happy over all with how the trans cooler was mounted, so I cut it all out and opted for angle iron.
The issues were the way it was mounted the frame was soooooper close the the line fittings. Then, I thought it would be a good idea to put some rubber mounts for vibration dampening, and that would make the fitting clearance worse. Sooooo, start over.

Mace, ya think I obsess too much??? :)

If I ever get to the point that I need by pass surgery, I want you on the team.

Hopefully you guys will figure out all this plumbing s*** before you crack my chest.

LOL!!!!
Its funny that you say that, because there are more similarities between surgery and auto mechanics/ building than you might think. Since Ive been involved in THIS hobby, Ive realized more and more how a lot of the same principals apply, from the way we graft vessels to the heart and we "tack" em down to keep from twisting and occluding to basic "aesthetic" incisions for breast lumpectomies where the incision is made in an elliptical shape so the incision line re approximates nice, straight and smooth. However, if you cut a NERVE, you cant just splice it back together like you can wire.

Yea, the night after the surgery, he's going to realize there was a better way, and he's going to come in the next day, tear you all apart and do it over. :flipoff2:

I was SOOOOOOO stoked that those brake lines just bolted right up! That saved me a TON of time. Just gotta run the frame lines out and plumbing is done!

He didn't have much time left, I prevailed on him to help me install sliders on the FJ60 (read: he did all the work and I stood around looking pretty, yeah I failed at that too:flipoff2:.) That killed all day Saturday and a goodly part of Sunday.

Aaaaaaand.... The plumbing is done!
Drive train is pulled, gotta remove 3 more items and I paint the frame TODAY!!! The x member I built , was a tight, so I had to fix that. Quite honestly, I donno how I got the bolts in!! :0

For helping him, rusty came bearing gifts... Be had about 20 ft of spiral wrap for the soft lines.... I think that's a pretty good option to protect those soft lines.
I've gotta say though, my right thumb.... It's never been so sore from bending that brake line tubing.

Looking great. I have more spiral wrap if you need it.
