Bah, 6" lift negates the need for sliders. Mostly. I didn't scrape any metal on the Step. Who wants pristine rockers, anyway? And wheel opening flares, those just look silly. Glossy paint is overrated too. Straight body panels, just something else to worry about. Glass is nice, if you have to have it...

LOL, thats my boy!!:D

No one else has pictures? I guess that leaves it to me to fill the thread!

Look Bman, two 40s on the same trail on a CSC run! If you had been there, that would have made three!:hillbilly

Phil provided the killer attack dog to protect us from the dangerous local bovine!

Even with the drought we managed to find a little water.

The picture doesn't show it, but the trail is very downhill and downhills aren't Claudia's favorite thing, that and a "little air" under the rear tire made her less than comfortable!:D

The last second of Rob's perfect flair and bumper end, before that rock made them less than shiny. :whoops:

Did I mention that Claudia doesn't like downhills, even less with a "little air" under a tire!

Fred did well in his big GMC, if Michael had made it he would have had company in the GM camp!

Alvin picking his way down to the "unnavigateable cliff of death", this area is steep, offcamber, with some big holes tossed in for good measure!:D

Lining up for the "unnavigateable cliff of death".

And "driving" off, well maybe sliding, falling, crashing would tell it better!:hillbilly Thanks for the spotting Alvin!

Doesn't anyone have any pics of me getting OVER/PAST anything or will this be forever known as that time James didn't get over the step.

I want to, I REALLY want to, but I'm not going to comment.
Suffice it to say that carnage is very cool.

Kevin, Michael here;

Thanks for posting the pictures, looks like you guys have something to show for, all I've got from the weekend are two new spreadsheets... :frown: :D

I hear that someone did a downhill mogul bump'n-run thing :bounce2: - she must have still been in skiing mode...

I see the GMC faction making further inroads  so you guys can't blame just me anymore :grinpimp:

first installment of pictures

o.k. here are the other 40 (Phil and Laurie, sp?), Kevin at the bypass to the Step, and Ben using the rear-bumper method of grading the approach at the Playhill

definitely not when two tires are in the air and I can rock the truck back and forth.... lean is not my favorite, either

The memorable "bump run" Michael is referring to happened when in a long stretch of rutted washouts downhill weight made it impossible to turn the front tires in standstill. I had two options, go down or back up a bit and turn the tires. My conscious plan was to shift into reverse, but evidently my subconscious and the truck thought otherwise: when I released the clutch, the truck shot forward and hurtled downhill , all the while bumping side to side into and out of the holes in the washout. I pointed straight and stopped, but that must have been the fastest speed I ever achieved in a vehicle  (at least that's how it felt in that fraction of a minute ;)), plus I heard yelling from behind and couldn't quite discern whether it was panic or cheering on :flipoff2:. First thing that came to mind stopped: I wonder whether this is what they mean with "Toyota - going forward"? :p
