Thanks @JohnVee , I've got a stock 2006 LX470, bought it 1 year ago. Coming soon will be some new tires, probably KO2. Sliders will be next. And then next August/Sept will be bumpers and possibly suspension swap.

Izzy, showed this to my wife last night and she loved it....thanks for the laugh! Apparently we must have crossed paths a few times on Friday at Overland Expo...sorry we didn't get to meet.

My wife likes to go so she can tell me what to do on the trail too @weejub Jammie's wife Heather seems to enjoy being out on the trail as well. Heather does not miss running harder core trails at all. I do not miss the damage I was constantly fixing.

Just don't show my wife and we are cool! John Vee has met her, she can kick my ass. I am volunteered to aid on the marching band, she is the president of that, so I gots to go with a smile.

Expo was very cool, I always enjoy it for what it is. I am not a fan of "condo camping", but well worth it.

At Overland Expo wife Sherry and I walked past the BFG area and i asked if she wanted to take a demo ride and she quickly retorted, "Why, we did more challenging several weeks ago on the Black Balsam Trail at OTMT"......I just smiled!

I agree, the Biltmore Expo was a lot milder than at Taylor ranch. The trails were too easy too. I liked the Taylor camping better, rugged but a lot more space.

I made the rounds today and checked out a few places. Big View Diner has lots of room and a great menu but at 2:30pm there was little parking in the entire shopping center (maybe college football filled it up). Queen City Q is just down the road in a much smaller strip mall that has a lot of businesses that are closed, or have limited hours, on weekends. Parking was more than ample for the open businesses. Let's call it Queen City Q at 3:00pm. I'll update post #1 with the same info. Next month will be a Sunday in or near Uptown Charlotte.

I met you guys a year or 2 ago at Wing King. My FJ40 is stuck in 4 wheel drive and I'm battling an electrical issue. BUT, I picked up an 07' FJ Cruiser last week. (Needs tires, and to either paint the wheels or get new ones, off road bumper/winch, etc).

I'd like to stop by - I promise not to park too close to the LC's!

Yup - She's been breaking my heart recently. My dad bought it new and she's been dependable up until about 2 years ago and now stuck in 4 wheel and I have what should be a simple electrical issue fix/but hasn't.
