I was listening to the game on the radio Saturday, and heard the first two field goals in the 1st qtr. I had to work so I missed the rest. Must've been a pretty slow game . . .

Well it looks like Lights Out will be out for the season if he chooses wisely....
He is seeking a third opinion on the two torn ligaments in his knee. The first two doctors were surprised he had even played the first pre-season game on it. His choices right now are to get surgery to repair both ligaments and be out the ENTIRE season, get a minor surgery to I guess stabilize the situation and be out some of the season, or play on it and chance a career ending injury. It's like deal or worser deal....
 
Was anyone at the game tonight? Looked like a lot of fun.

I hope that Merriman makes the right decision and stays out the season to get the knee taken care of, he still has a long career ahead of him. Just look at what Seau has accomplished when he was well past his prime.
 
I think he should stay out too, but why wasn't this caught when they went in and cleaned up his knee during the off season?

The 'O' line looked VERY GOOD tonight. They held great pockets for Rivers and created some nice holes for Sproles. Oh and 94 yards in the first half, I guess his knee is ALL GOOD :D

The rumor I heard today was that he was caught with steroids again.
The knee thing is just cover and he will be out for the season. :popcorn:

Agreed, Merriman should just stay out of the game this season.

Good news that Tucker's ankle injury was minor. He'll be ready to play on his freshly extended 5 year contract. :D

BTW: How about that block for Rivers by Sproles?? Sproles leveled that guy!

There is NO way that they would be able to hide that from the media. I would say that's all rumor..... And what he was caught with before was not roids, just a supplament! :rolleyes:

That was my thought, too.
But, you know what they say. If you don't hear a rumor by 9:00, you should start one.
