Wow, wow, wow. Incredible game. Scifres, punting consistency and perfection. Bummer but not surprising LT was a no go. I acutally feel bad for him. I believe in his heart, and probably a little ego too, he wants to shine and get the Chargers to the show. Sadly it is looking like his age is catching up with him as he can't seem to stay healthy. Sproles, my man. I have been digging him all season and he totally came through and with big shoes to fill. I do worry about his endurance playing so much offense and special teams. :hhmm: But seriously, 5 ft. 6 in. of fury killing it. :bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2:

I told my boss on Friday that all Indy had to do was game plan to stop Sproles and they would win. Well glad they didn't game plan.....

Shocked that Gates was so effective. I have minor problems with my ackilies (SP?) and it completely shuts you down when it acts up. I don't know how he is doing it!

Well Pittsburgh is favored by 6 points and if I were betting I would take the under!
The forecast is snow and temps low 18 and a high of 23. Brrrrrrr!!!!!!

My prediction vs. the Steelers will be if we intercept Roth at least twice we will win the game. We should have had two vs. Peyton and the game wouldn't have even been close!

I just worry about playing it Pittsburg's element. We don't have alot of experience playing in butt ass cold snow. Looking forward though.

It should be a battle of field position. Scifres needs to do his thing again and keep the Steelers on their side of the field. I'm thinking a low scoring game. A heavy dose of Michael Bennett is best suited for that mushy field. Gonna be a lot of slipping and sliding come Sunday.

Well, we just played there in the snow in November and lost by only 3. If it wasn't for Troy Polamalu's (SP?) lucky A$$ plays then we would have won that game.

Polamalu makes his own plays, that guy has more hustle than most other strong safeties combined. I say that out of respect for his skills but we can take him. ;) It is going to be another great game.

So why'd this thread get changed to "Chargers '09"? What are we going to call next seasons thread? :flipoff2:

I am nervous about tomorrow. The Steelers have had our number in the past . . .

BTW: How bout them Cardinals?

Yeah but only in the regular season, we are 2-0 in the post season vs. the Steelers.

BTW: How bout them Cardinals?

Unbelievable!!!!! Destroyed them.... Let's hope the Away team upsets continue for at least one more game this weekend! Then the Chargers would come back home for another Playoff game.

Nervous time!

What the F*#k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did somebody forget to let the offense off the plane? 17 seconds in an entire quarter?!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I think we need to put out an APB.

Yeah, wow. That was something . . . :frown:

Sproles did okay. Nice run back to setup the tip/interception.

Defense did as good as they could have I supposed. They spent a $#!%load of time on the field.

(Okay. Now the same statement I make every year:)

Well, maybe next year.

Go Cards!

He did as good as could be expected, Pitt had his number and with no one else to go to, LT?, they had him covered. You could see the frustration and later anger that he was unable to do more on his face.

Have to agree, the D did really well. I don't know how they lasted as long as they were on the field without rest but hats off to them. Also hell of a stop on the 1 inch line.

Oh, yeah. Go Cards. :flipoff2:

Except for a couple spots, the Defense was horrible. Tackling was poor... and except for Jamal Williams every D lineman was getting blown off the line at one time or another. If they could have given the offense a chance in the third quarter, maybe things turn out different.

7 months until training camp.
