Nice job on the prep and welds. Good to see you are taking care of your drill bits. Tap magic is great stuff! Most people just drill and do not add anything for lubricant/ cooling.
When you're all done with all painting and welding, you might buy a can of aerosol Lithium grease, and shoot it up those drain channels. This will act as rustproofing so that this never has to be done again.
I've got the same hole!
Looking good man!
What seats you rocking there? Sorry if I missed it.
Cheers!

For non-OEM seats, those look great! I presume they are comfortable?
Joe,
Carpet looks good. Nice install job. One of the better installs I've seen with my kit.

Hey Jason, Thanks. Carpet is really nice. High quality for sure. Makes my truck feel new. Even gives it "that new car smell".
I did a crap job on the wheel well vinyls. Those are really tricky. I need a do over on those for sure.
Question... Got any tips on the rear tailgate carpet? That's the one thing that is still outstanding. The carpet piece doesn't have the overhang vinyl like OEM so you can't re staple (at least I don't think you can) to the masonite. Curious how you or others have done this. One day I won't need that carpet there cause I'll be able to buy that slick storage mod thinga-ma-jobber you sell... It's on my "One day on my 60 list"

Hey Joe, are what seats are those? Do you like them? They look like the Corbeau seats.?

Thanks J, yeah when I was there I meant to ask if you had got them in yet. Cloth is key! Thank you.Corbeau Sports posted earlier. These are the same ones I bought for the canopy rig build. Remind me when you come back up and I'll let you sit in one. I love the Volvo S70 seat and this is as close to it as I can find in style and comfort. PLUS available in cloth.
J
What a great transformation! How does it sound inside now?
Nice work!!
any pics of your sweet roll around bench for the garage from repurposed OEM seats?
