I have been a Landcruiser lover for many years. I have an 80 that is my daily drive. I have 2 40’s that are all original and running. But, I have a 79 that I started an off frame restoration on some years ago. I had the motor rebuilt and started to put it back together. I’ve runout of time and money. I need to sell it and all the parts to put it back together! If interested please let me know.

X2 to what LITP stated above, if it was registered as a 1979 it is an early 1979 not a true 1979.
It would be a 1978 registered as a 1979.

my WAG is it won't be anywhere near what you have into it currently
with the engine open to atmosphere, it may need to be taken apart again to inspect
cut rear quarters
everything in pieces, who knows what is missing
questionable wiring
