First .. congrats .. it looks great !

Some questions ..

1. How much boost ?
2. Compresor model ?
3. Looks like you are archiving some lag
4. BOV . ?
5. Lean . ?

Thanks for the props! I am only running a couple of lbs right now. I will be putting a 6psi spring in the wastegate soon. As for the compressor, it is a 60/63 Warner ISHI from a T-Bird. As for lag, not bad; I've got 4 liters pumping what used to be pushed by 2.3L. I have an OEM Mitsu BOV but havn't installed it yet. I don't think it is as important on an auto-tranny setup such as this one. Thanks to the auxillary pump and FMU, the mixture is actually running rich right now. I'll do a little tuning with the fmu when I get a little time.

Side shot of the completed project with AFM in place. The turbo is an Warner Ishi off of a T-Bird coupe.

It looks like the cat is running a bit hot down there :)

Nice fab job on the plumbing.

I don't think it's strictly necesari with 6PSI the BOV :. but anycase it's nice to ear this sound :D

Is that pic in your avatar fron disney? I used to crawl all over that place. I am from tulsa too. This will be the first time in 10 years I wont be at Grand Lake for the Fourth. :(

Nice work on the turbo!!!

That is so cool!! Your fab work is so far advanced than mine. I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy, I'm not Worthy.

awesome!!! ive been waiting on someone to do this for a long time. more details/pictures would be awesome.

might have to be my next mod

All very interesting keep us upto date with how it runs with the bigger boooooooost

Oh yes and lets see some Dyno numbers:cool:

What work did you do to the engine?

Dyno huh. Well, Tulsa Dyno is just right down the street. We'll see.
The motor is bone stock!

P.S. There have been several "Dyno" requests mentioned. Does anybody have an idea of what a stock, good condition 62 would lay down at the wheels? If not, a Dyno # would be kinda worthless without a baseline.

From the Toyota 1988 Model New Car Features bulletin:

3FE
stock hp: 155 @ 4000 rpm bhp
stock torque: 220 ft lbs @3000 rpm
2F
stock hp: 125 @3600 bhp
stock torque: 200 ft lb @ 1800 rpm

Don't know the actual rear wheel hp but that's a start. By the way, your work looks great and I'd love to drive a turbo'ed 3FE, especially at altitude.

Yes. I actually built a different one first that mounted the turbo on bottom, between the frame rail and oil pan, but it was just too tight for all of the plumbing.

Your work is very impressive. Just curious - did you get a chance to do any dyno testing or work out HP from ET's? I'm wondering what the effects were of your various mods.

So im a bit confused, is the stock ECU alone running that setup?
