According to Toyota's website (and yes I admit, I cheated and went to the interweb for the answer...) It wasn't called "Stout" until the 2nd gen which went into production in 1959![]()
The truck in your picture looks more like the 1st gen truck which went into production in 1956
If you look at the bed it matches the 1st gen truck better.
