We were placed under a Cat5 Winter Weather Advisory with a 90% likelihood of death and destruction. Unfortunately, the storm fizzled before it hit us...

We've had three such storm warnings this week...instead mid 50's showed up with sun and bluebird days. I could do that job :D

since you going to rear disk setup in the future...right? Think you would want to mirror the MC from the FJ80 that is non ABS but is 4wheel disk.
Potentially proportion valve if needed not LSPV. I believe the LSPV is reactive to weight and you might not want to introduce that into the equation.

Covered earlier in this thread. The 93 FZJ80 was disc/disc without ABS. That is the master cyl you want to use for a lot if these RDB swaps. I haven't run into a need for an additional proportioning valve yet.

Rear bits separated. The frame and my plasma are about to go on a date...

Looks serious, Cam. Lucky the snow melted.

Really stoked to see this come together.

Man, me too. When I started it the other day (first time in weeks) and again today, it made me giggle. I had to rev it up a few times.

If the rear comes together anything like the front, I will flip
out.

Dude-go to bed. It's gotta be 2 am there, and you're out taking pictures in the 6-9 carport. Your neighbors wife think(s) you are weird.

I'm not going full redonculous. It needs to look good in a pair of 33-35's, be smooth and supple enough for everyday use, yet firm enough for the occasional spirited romp with a heavy payload.

Which one is that?

Real time progress so you can watch the magic (or potential drama) unfold...

I still need to cut the exhaust out and move fuel & brake lines before these can be fully fitted.

I got the exhaust cut off, pulled away all the brake, fuel, vent, air locker, etc. lines, and cut the rear crossmember/upper shock mount off.

Here's a test fit of the buckets. I still need to trim a little more off the inside corner to give a little more room for the gas tank, and it should just barely fit.

Here's where the exhaust is pointing right now. It should come out right under the front crossmember.

I gotta stop for a couple of hours, but hope to get the buckets & crossmember fitted and ready to weld in tonight.

Looks like the back slider leg & bracket is right where the lower control arm needs to be (of course!)

Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, it's just not something I wanted to mess with.

This might be for the better. I was looking for an excuse to pull them so I could cut the tube off and rotate it out so it can be used as a step and better match my tire width.
