Cam, your expresso magic and bean options should balance things out nicely in the back? ...Go heavy!

Cam-since Dan's out, we're counting on you. Soon you're going to have to stop messing with your suspension, and figure out how to mount the 'spresso" gear, as I would imagine that pull handle takes a pretty solid mount. I will bring extra milk, organic and free of BGH of course. Would you like some more Temple beans this year?

And just for the record, I think Cam's spent way more on his spresso gear, than on his camping gear. That's the 'spressomon's fault.

edit: And I'm remembering the wonder on Cam's face, when we woke up like drowned rats at Wilson Reservoir and Dan had the 'spressos coming out one after the other. I think Cam's world changed right then.

I am looking forward to seeing your progress. We are about to get hit with a winter storm that seems to be coming from your direction (our west coast and SW friends wouldn't understand) so you should have some time off work to get er' done!

The snow should help soothe the inevitable burns Mark will get when he welds right next to the gas tank :hillbilly:

Yes, I had been without for several days at that point. All was right with the world after Dan produced the first spresso!

I'm already panic-ing about this year's trip. Dan won't be there, and I don't think y'all will have enough juice from the solar panels to power my (small) machine. I may need to start a GoFundMe to procure an "acoustic" machine. I've got all of the other puzzle pieces in place.

Did you ask Roger how much his truck weighs? I think he tips 7-8K.

Its heavy .....I'm not sure how much it weighs.....my truck weighs close to 6K in present form and I'm guessing Roger is 7.5K or greater.

Uh oh, thats right the Magma nesting pots... Cha Ching ::::::D

...Back to your regularly scheduled program >>

I think its a conspiracy with the gear manufacturers. I've got $50K in steel pans/griddles alone and I haven't even bought the Magma nesting pots yet.

Let's not add up the espresso gear :D

Well...

She's not quite a driver yet. I'm waiting on a few replacement steering components and I still need to put the new spindle on.

But, just pulling out of the driveway to turn it around, I could tell how much smoother the front is. No harsh bounce hitting the hard edge where driveway meets the street, just a soft squish.

Steering effort is zero. Between the GM pump, 80 box, better wheel tracking, and lack of caster, it is a one finger deal. I haven't even bled the PS system.

This weekend is looking good to get started on the back :steer:

Brake question for the 80 guru's...

I noticed that the 60 has (what I guess) is a proportioning valve separate from the MC, all bolted to the booster.

We grabbed the 80 booster/MC as a single unit and there is no such proportioning valve on there. Is there a separate proportioning valve or is it built into the MC?

This is a '93, so there is no ABS, but I do have the larger brakes up front.

A Honda/Yamaha 2000w generator and a big boom box and you'll vibe your work away in no time. Then be well positioned to provide the NorCal crew with espressos and cappas via your Export. That's what I would do. :D

Andy's gonna love this:grinpimp:

Already got the bump in my trunk:grinpimp:

Cool. A friend is doing the 80 FF/tundra disc up front combo that is popular right now. That's what he did...

I don't think you will need one. You could add it later if I am all wet.

The 80 has a proportioning valve at the rear for load/brake adjustment. What specifically are you looking for?

I'm not using the LSPV that you are talking about. If there is one, it would be up front somewhere near the MC. It sounds like there isn't one with the 4 wheel disc set up.
