Holy cow is that thing moving some air now. Before, you could feel it pulling a little through all the coolers and the condenser, but now you can feel a nice breeze and you can hear it flowing through, and that's just at idle.
I'm curious to see how this affects the trans temps. It was pushing 165-170 when it was getting warm out last week, and I don't think it was completely topped out.
shroud is looking good...are you going to use some small bolts with lock nuts or something to join the two halfs?

impressive...nice and cold A/C
wonder if the old a/c amp just called it quits.. Post up some notes on the wiring fix so it might help others.
I think the only source for those amps is "used"..both for the 60 and 62. I have the circuit board out of a used 60 amp... for my spare..maybe I need to go on the hunt for a 62 amp.
A/C = Good
That's some great trouble shooting work on the AC. The fan shroud looks good too. I'm going to try and modify my shroud too.
You can clearance the tranny pan a little more in that area if need be. There'snothing inside in that area except the dip stick. The H3 oil pan will solve any clearance problems too. (Only) $150 from Summit or Jegs. Really a sweet build!
Thanks!
What's the part number on the H3 pan? Does it come with a new pick up and windage tray? I've already sold my truck pan, pickup, and tray, which are probably more correct than the Camaro parts. Can you post a pic of the diff side of the pan with a tape measure in there for reference? And across the bottom, too? It looks like it is missing the corner chunk that is giving me problems.
I'll make a little more room on the trans pan.
Hope it works!I went ahead and ordered one.
The oil pan is just about the only thing keeping me from calling this project a wrap.
