i wish i was in Honduras, i am envious. we have two trips plan this year but neither are in Honduras. we plan to go to Kamloop, BC and the other is Baja California. hopefully some day Honduras...... thanks:cheers:

Cool video! I love the wide stance, looks so tough from front-on. :D
You should leave Nulla just the way it is, don't paint it, just enjoy travelling in it.

Don't paint Nulla?

we had a plan to paint Nulla "flat brown" but there are many people telling us not to paint it, friends, including a total stranger who knocked on at our home told us not to paint her. when we where in Baja California she blended right in ...... long story short we have held off painting Nulla but still undecided.... appriciate your opinion, thanks

Nulla goes solar power

solar power that will supply power to my ARB fridge, lap top, led light, small fan, radio, etc.. of course not all at once.

Carmanah 145 watt most panel of this size i found are 140 watt, seem to be reputable and already use for RV application
http://www.gpelectric.com/products/1...t-solar-module
Blue Sky Charge controller 2525IX i am told that this goes well with an enclosed battery AGM or GEL i also like the feature of charging the starting battery when the house battery is fully charge. it will also accept a second 145 watt solar panel if i find it necessary in the future
http://www.blueskyenergyinc.com/prod...r_boost_2512i/
Blue Sky IPN Remote probably not necessary but decided to go with it
http://www.blueskyenergyinc.com/prod...ls/ipn_remote/
Blue Sky battery temperature sensor help make the charge controller more efficient
http://www.blueskyenergyinc.com/prod...rature_sensor/

i used 8 gage wire. the panel is fix but can be portable for those rare moment that i need that, that connector is marine grade and will accept an extension cord when i need to go remote. the extension cord will connect between panel and connector on the roof. the panel will also tilt 45% when pop top is close.

i am also installing an AC battery charger
(on order) Home for those time that i have access to AC power, i am told it will help with the battery longevity.

for an inverter i am thinking of the morningstar 300, i like the fact that it does not have a fan. Morningstar Corporation SureSine

just got back

just back from a 6000 mile trip los angeles, nevada, utah, wyoming, south dakota, north dakota, cross into canada, right on ca 1 to Kamloop, bc, washington, then back to los angeles. great trip, the newly installed solar and arb fridge worked well. we where off grid 98% of the time and the solar keep the fridge charge and it is still keeping charge now sitting on our drive way. great addition to the Nulla. here are some pictures and a u tube link of Nulla at Willow Flat, Utah just outside of Moab http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fa2yERFXP6w
