Broken IAC connector-source?

The connector that snaps into the IAC on the throttle body shattered when I pulled the TB. Has anyone sourced this or do you have the Toyota Part number? Thanks

You'll need the seals too, and if you replace them, new terminals. Both are available from Ballenger. If you can't find what you need on the website, call them. They are very helpful.

Thanks; they have a version of the connector all made up with seals and terminals and a pigtail. Great stuff. Thanks

I would not use the pigtail, unless I had to. Every extra connection in an electrical circuit is bad.

It's worth the extra time and effort to put new terminals on the wiring harness and stick them into the new connector housing, after you put the seals on the wires, of course. Not that I know anyone who has ever installed the terminals first...

Honestly, the quickest/easiest thing to do is simply re-pin your existing terminals into the new connector. Make sure you take a good photo of the existing connector/wires first, then just remove them from the connector; if it's anything like mine was, it was so brittle it just crumbled apart in a pair of channel-locks. IIRC correctly, you'll be able to pull new wire seals over your old pins.

Hello all:

I’m lucky enough to be working on a cool project at the shop where we will be rehabilitating a OBD 1 1FZ-FE engine harness. As such, it seems there is some information useful to the community as I go through this process that might be worth passing along and sharing.

We’ll be disassembling an 82121-60342 engine wiring harness and reconstituting it using all OEM parts. This engine harness has been discontinued for a long time. I know of one NIB/NOS iteration owned by another well-known parts nerd for his own vehicle. Other than this person, I don’t know of another version...

The following posts are to document the 1FZ-FE US market 80 series 1995-1997 OBD2 main engine wiring harness connectors. While this is not exhaustive in the sense that it covers every single connector, it does cover about 95% of them. The remaining 5% or so are not sourceable outside of the main engine wiring harness itself.

Toyota uses an internal part number nomenclature for connectors used through the vehicle in different harness systems. This connector system for the parts world is prefixed by 90980- XXXXX. The XXXXX are the specific connector number based on an internal Toyota...
