1974 body on a 1978 frame (and brake components). Any recommendations on a brake booster/master cylinder/assembly combo? Easiest route? Any vendor recommendations? any past threads to point to? Thanks fellas.

I would go to like SOR.Com and print screen out the pages of interest for both model years 74 and 78. I have a 72 with a 76 hard top.

I'm guessing it will be far easier to to stick with the 74 booster/master if you can find them

On my '74 FJ55 I have the City Racer booster and an 80 series non-ABS master

For what it's worth, I have successfully installed an FJ62 master cylinder and booster into my '72. It needed a spacer and a couple of modifications to the push rod assembly, and the booster interferes slightly if you need to remove the clutch master, but otherwise it works pretty slick (note that I also swapped in later FJ40 steering knuckles and disc brakes).
