that is impressive in itself that you have kids and nobody eats in it. I have 2 dogs, 2 kids and a wife. Mine is covered with slober and old french fries from road trips. :)

Gupp,

We enjoy it and yes we even eat in it... My kids are 9 & 11 and they are good about watching things in "Dad's Cruiser" they even know that we don't slam doors....

Your truck exemplifies what my LC aspires to be one day. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail!

Thank you for the very nice comment... It's the community here and everyone acting as the collective that makes this what it truly is.

Took this weekend to catch up on some projects... I've been installing new OEM Bushings into the Rear upper control arms, Lateral control rods, sway bars and such.

Also extended the rear sway bar links and beefed up the rear LCA's..

Thanks to @LandCruiserPhil for the writeup...

Started with some DOM Tube..

are you related to Luke in some way?!

Haha!! No, just been contemplating selling her for a 100 series due to my need for more power.....

I just can't find the character in anything like the 80.....

So I think I'll have to make the best of both worlds.....

Stay tuned........

Today I received my recovered spare wheel from Craft Customs. Nicely done with what seems like good quality product and craftsmanship .

Disconnected the batteries - Let sit for a few minutes as per procedure in the FSM and pulled the airbag...

Next it was time to swap components from my wheel to the newly recovered.

I've had a very small squeak when turning right and having some pressure on the wheel. Before I pay for a new clock spring assy, I figured I'd take a stab at adding some grease to the top of the bearing surface in hopes that would take care of the issue. Doubtful, but worth a shot as the squeak is so very slight.

Installed new recovered wheel, replaced the power and started her up... No airbag light.. Guess I was lucky....

Anyway - I'll make a separate post, but I'll use my original wheel as a loaner for people who want to have theirs recovered. Just pay shipping and make sure it gets back to me when you are done. Pay it forward....
