Long term testing on the #1FZ #Turbo oil drain fitting that was custom designed for this install. It’s what prevents the need for tig welding an oil bung onto the oil pan. This has been on for nearly a year and everything is looking good so far.

It’s getting harder and harder to find all tools made in USA. Or at least NOT made in China. Ugh. I’m waiting on the Irwin step drills to show up but here is what is included JUST for the oil drain fitting

BTW, I’ve been asked why there are two small bits. One is 7/64” and the other is 3.3mm
The 7/64” is like 20 thou smaller than the minor of the M4 screw. Since everyone is using a hand drill, the bit will walk and the hole won’t be perfectly perpendicular. So it’s the rough in hole. The #30 3.3mm drill bit acts as a ream and cuts the hole nice and perfect to make sure you have enough material for the M4 tap.

The level of detail in this is really amazing. I finished my turbo build a few months ago and just got done with emissions. I cannot wait to see more turbo cruisers out there having a great time.
Since I have no idea how the CARB process works, can you provide any update?
