Front shaft coming off

had my cruiser on a dyno a a couple months ago, they just sat the front axle on jack stands with it strapped in place of course. 35" tyres doing 80-90mph a couple inches from the ground will give you an uneasy feeling haha

You can't just happen to mention that you had your rig on a Dyno recently and not share your numbers. How did she perform?

a whopping 96kw :) it was running rich and they used it to have a look at its air fuel ratio. I would like a turbo from them, it's the Turboglide kit. right on $9k AUD with a manifold, no engine management, including intercooler. it pushes about 4-5psi. asking the guys what it's like they just said "there are no hills, even when towing"

that sounds pretty nice to me.

That is right inline with what is expected. 93-100KW (125-135awhp) is about what I have seen on all the trucks I have seen dyno'd.

good to know i'm not driving the only slug. the new 4.88's will give it some more pep though when they go in

Sending positive vibes all goes well with CARB and the rest of this mission. My SoCal ‘96 wants one...err ah..needs one.

You won't hear me, but you'll feel me
Without warning, something's dawning, listen
Then within your senses
You'll know you're defenseless
How your heart beats when you run for cover
You can't retreat, I spy like no other
Then we'll race together
We can ride forever
Wrapped in horsepower, driving into fury
Changing gear I pull you tighter to me

I'm your turbo lover
Tell me there's no other
I'm your turbo lover
Better run for cover

The Turbo tags are ready to be spot welded onto the j-pipe which means I can finally go pick them up and start the packaging exercise :p

That’s awesome. Have you priced this yet? 115 pages is too much to search through.

I can/likely will ship 49-state first and will send CARB EO stickers to all buyers once I get the certs. Some may not care but you might when trying to sell the truck. ;)

Damn it, my smog check was a year ago!

Just got the call from the emissions lab. The front CAT is no good and the ECU is at maximum adjustment parameter to compensate for the bad CAT. New CATs being ordered now to install. Then it needs to be driven for 500 miles for burn in before starting the process over again. Small hurdle. No big deal. It works out ok because my friend’s shop time had to be pushed back til 2/1

I have one spot that opened up. One of the folks who did a pre-pre-order got into a car accident and weighing his options about repairing or not. So he’s backing out of the turbo. I want to make him whole so if someone wants that spot please PM me.

Gone in 60 seconds???
