I recall many moons ago, there was a guy on here talking about making a head gasket replacement video. After an extended period of time, still no video.... another guy jumped on the idea, made a video and I believe sold a blue million of them.
Lol, I don’t know. Kind of a catch 22. Gotta drum up the interest, but this kind of stuff happens. So are you saying I should stop talking about making a turbo kit?![]()
That is the rational, logical plan. I don't know why we can't move in that direction.Lol, yeah. With 112, I think people saw the $$$ impact and voted on that more than hippy/safety/environmental concerns (plus John Elway told us to vote no). As for emissions, I have personally registered trucks in Park and Grand counties after a failing the test in my local jurisdiction, but the air quality here in the Denver metro is downright disgusting some days. This time around, I actually fixed up my truck to pass. I personally think they should hook it up to the sniffer and if it passes that, then who cares what equipment is on or off the truck. I know I'm probably in the minority in that sentiment for our chosen hobby

Was reading back through the thread to try and find what year of Landcruiser's the Wits End turbo will work on. I have 94, does this mean I am sol.
Couldn’t you use alternative engine management and make it work? It would be a one off.Sorry

Spent a few hours here at SEMA garage dropping off the ICON80 to start the CARB certification process. This will be its home for the next week why it runs thru the emissions dyno process to get the baseline numbers for the turbo 80.
There is light at the end of the tunnel!

I only see rollers for one axle. Is the truck you're using have a part-time kit? I know it doesn't affect emissions....just asking.
Im guessing that dyno time costs a fair bit more than 50 bucks an hour lol. This all looks like a lot of work. Im sure the end product will be worth it.
