2 layers (3 boxes) of 80mil kilmat on the entire floor, taped every seam, bled heavily from all finger tips, took 5 days to lay and roll 2 layers and tape.

i also replaced shifter bushings on the shifter assembly and the bronze bushings and rubber grommets on the linkage under the truck, also replaced the boot/seal under shifter assembly.

then i fully deep cleaned/pressure washed my carpets and scrubbed down every interior peice and reinstalled it all. the interior is still a bit rough in places, especially the carpets, but its an adventure truck so im not too worried about it. i also installed a set of weather tech mats front and rear, thatll cover up the worst of it, and try to keep it from getting any worse. ***did not clean tailgate carpet yet, will do with next round of sound deadening***

Do you notice a difference with the sound deadening?

after all that is added all the ac parts.. you know, so i could have ac.

i replaced the compressor(which hasnt even been on the engine for 1.5 years.. seriously go back and look at my engine build) condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, and a custom made dryer/relocation kit with lines from Andy aka @fj80psi (thanks man!!!) i also flushed out all of the lines and made sure they were as clean as could be. I replaced every o-ring and taped up that obvious hose with some bling bling because the original heat wrap was coming off.

and yes there is a belt on the compressor, just not in that picture ;)

A lot of work going on...
I just did the front 2 seats in Thermo Gaurd FR.
How much did all that Kilmat weigh?

Okay, i have a huge pile of parts to install. arb lockers front and rear, nitro 5.29s, a full air system, a cheap version of a switch pros box/s-pod, and a couple other goodies, not to mention and entire front and rear axle rebuild kits. I finally have time to start working on it this week and the pics will follow. :)

Just some food for thought. I am running 5.29s and the low range transfer gears, with 37s I felt it was adequate. Then I installed 39s and it was a substantial loss of power so I had the 10% under drive gears installed, well it was a big improvement it's still not the same as the way I had it set up with the 37s. The Next step to more low range is the Black box and I don't think I going to do that.
Also My current set up is netting about 31/2"s of lift all spring no body lift. I installed the dobinson 6/7" front lift shocks and after some testing I felt that the stock front control arms do not allow enough articulation to use all the 12"s of travel the shocks offer, and at full droop they were allowing the front drive shaft and extended brake lines to over extend and a host of other undesirable things to happen under full droop.
I ended up getting a set of there 4 " lift shock which have 10" of travel and I am getting just as much articulation with out all the over droop problems.
Really happy with this set up ( C97-146VT springs & GS45-912 shocks ) in the front ;) JMHO
Following along keep the pictures coming.

My plan was always true 40s, according to my maths, 40s on 5.29s is very close to the factory 31(ish) and 4.10/4.11 gears. I was considering lower high range gears in the t-case but ill hang on to the 37s for now and go from there. Shocks and springs will come later, probably along with the 3 link.

wait, you finally have time....is that because you’re done with GAs rig? @MongooseGA

okay, heres the pile i started with.

it includes front and rear arb air lockers, nitro 5.29 ring and pinions with install kits, man-a-fre front and rear axle rebuild kits w/wheel bearings, arp studs for the hubs and knuckles, wits end nut huggers, wits end air manifold, a china special air tank/compressor/train horn kit from amazon, a RHD steering arm for the left side knuckle(for a future high steer setup), ebc greenstuff brake pads front and rear, and a gang of wiring and supporting parts for smooth install.

i utilized some of the open space under the hood and made this bracket.

and this bracket for a pre wired fused relay box. those 6 wires are 30a fused outputs, just add a wire to power an accessory and youre golden. theres a neat little switch panel for the interior, i may not have a picture of it but ill get one.
