Is bending a tube to pass wire through, the only option to wiring speakers?

Anybody have a diferent idea?

I went for the coil spring idea..........worked good. Now I just need to take pics of my newly installed speakers and door panels.

Yep, me too. I guess I must have done it wrong. Hee, hee. :)

What was really tough for me was taking a hole saw to the upper front doors (on the trail pig) to install tweeters. Big 'ol 1-1 1/2" holes in the doors now! ...but the stereo sounds pretty good.

Nat look at something like this.

Personally I'd get some rubber tubing and two gromets and just glue the tubing on the gromets. Would look nice.

Those are cool............the spring solution looks pretty nice too, I will post pics soon.

The doors really look slick, painted, with new panels and all the hardware installed. The speakers are all black to match.

Noticed on the rear doors of my 80 series that basically all they did was use two grommets and wrap the wires with electrical tape. If it works for an 80 it would work for a 55. Shink tubing would work also.
