I have only found part number 84310-60022 which would work but I believe it is a slightly newer version with the spade-type connector plug vs. the individual pin connectors.

This is the switch removed from the assembly.

I was lucky to get a call about one of the ARB reissue first gen "catchers mask" bumpers and grabbed it up. It is going on the truck along with an 8274 Warn winch I bought from @Michael B a couple of years ago (thanks buddy!). I was going to use it on Chunk, but wound up putting an M8000 on because it was handy at the time. Glad I waited, because the 8274 will look proper on this truck.

I got an awesome care package of parts from @cppilot today. Hopefully this gets my lights and turn signals all straightened out!

I'm pretty stoked about how this old paint will shine up. I ran some McGuiars Ultimate Compound on my orbital buffer on one side of the back of the cab. The other side has been scrubbed free of rust, but not polished. Not sure you can see the difference in the pics, but it is pretty huge. Still have final polish and wax to go yet too!

I’m digging the way that paint is coming back, great rare color and I’ve never seen it on a 45 LPB. Super excited for you Patrick.

Thanks! Me too. I have owned it for a few years and honestly thought it was white that had been messed up by the sun. Close, only it is yellow messed up by the sun!

I’ll get a picture posted of my brothers 66 FJ40 that’s the same color.

Stop trying to make this about me, bro. I will wait for you in Tucson when you get this sombitch up and do your road trip.

Cheers, I am very hyped for you and yours. Stay blessed.

Ciao
Fair enough. You do the same!

Going for the win, round one...

The gasket on the glass bowl on the fuel pump was leaking, so we couldn't pump gas up to the carb. After the remedy for that...

It is amazingly quiet for no exhaust system. Next move will be to drive it on a trailer and get an exhaust system on

We plopped the roof on today. Mainly because I don't have anywhere to put it! I still have to install the headliner from Cruiser Corps, but it will have to happen at a later date. I am really looking forward to doing/learning that on my own and free time is non-existent! I really wanted to see how it looked anyway.

I got the hood polished last night, and the bottom painted in John Deere Blitz Black tonight. Hopefully tomorrow we can get it put on and start adding hardware. We are putting on new latches and windshield bumpers. I really like the idea of fresh trim items on old paint so I went this way. The original latches are pretty clapped out, so I decided to go this way. Kind of like using the new turn signal assemblies and park lights.

That hood turned out perfect in my opinion. Great job. I found a few not so great pictures of my brothers 66FJ40 with the same color…twins
