GO TIGERS! Very impressive win today while getting ready for UNC this weekend. Clemson absolutely dominated a solid Alabama team winning by 30.

You ready Marshall? Bout time UNC actually played somebody this yr, your guys wont know what to do when they face equal or better athletes.

Well we are 19th right now so add a whipping of Bama and say a real close with vs UNC cause if we win it will be close I'm sure. I'd say maybe close to top 10, something like 12 or 13.

Well I have tickets in hand for the Clemson UNC game in Chapel Hill in Feb. And I'm bringing some tards with me. Planning on letting Chuck and JP sit in front of me so I can spill crap on them the whole game. This ought to be epic. Get to show them what real basketball is all about. Andy is coming along to rub it in.

Epic battle.

I am a DIE HARD Tigers fan, but it is hard to be a basketball game in the "he who shall not be named" Dome. Granted it looks like someone put a smurf in a blender and hit purée without the top on, but the atmosphere is great.

My wife was the athletic trainer for the Mens team in Grad school.(Dougherty years, I think we can all agree UNC's seen better). So we can usually get a ticket or two for free. 2 years ago, her dad won tickets for a game and gave them to us. 10th row, our seats were 2 rows better than John Edwards. Pretty cool.

Y'all have fun, and try not to throw up because of all the blue...

Ha, ha. For once, I have no dog in this fight.

Should be fun. Hopefully we'll be coming off a victory against the Cavaliers the day before, I'll be at that one too.

Good memories from h.s. and college of the UNC sororities and bars on F-Street; they will be the main entertainment du jour.

If history happens to occur, well then I guess I can say I was there...

OK, new game. Who can come up with things better than John Edwards?

I'll start...ah...OK. Never mind. That would get ugly quick.

What amazes me is what tickets go for now.

My family has had the same seats ever since the Smith Center was built. Back in the day if we didn't make a game the seats stayed empty. Now with ebay 4 tickets go for $300 on the lower level. Amazing. And now every seat is filled. All 22k seats for every game. It was crazy back then but it's really crazy now.

UNC for the most part plays at the high level of most college sports. Hard to find another college who ranks higher in all sports combined. They just have a really good athletic program and the school is no exception. They just don't let anyone in.

And they are just now getting football of the ground. There is some insane money being spent in order to do it. I heard they were planning on expanding the stadium to seat 77k. Crazy to think that when just a few years ago they they had maybe a quarter of that show up for a game.

Yeah, it has gotten nuts but that kind of hype and hysteria is part of what makes Tobacco Road great.

I grew up going to games in **gasp** Cameron Indoor Stadium and thought nothing of it.

I looked at the prices on eBay for 2 to the season closer Duke / UNC game this year at CIS and all I can say is...wow! And for crap seats at that!

I don't know how many went to UNC, but they used to sell students "Ceiling Fan" tickets, kinda like a season ticket in the rafters on the cheap for Grad and Med students. No more, too much demand for full-price tickets.

I thought the stadium was as big as it was going to get. Seems I heard something about a law at UNC about no building being higher than the treetops. Is this true, or was someone blowing smoke?

Wow! As much as I hate to say it. Clemson was the better team tonight. Even with the loss they showed that they are better than being ranked 19th and showed UNC should not be #1. Hell of a game.

JP, the call at half time was priceless.

you guys hit the shots when you had to we didn't........... heck of a game and a hard fought win for ya

looking forward to the rematch next month!!!

UNC needed Ellington to have the most ridiculous game of his career or they wouldnt have won. It still came down to free throws for us though and we still didnt make them, even the better free throw shooters like Stitt, Rivers, Oglesby, and Booker missed more than usual. I'm stoked for the rematch though should be another realy good game. It just sucks we are gonna drop in the polls cause we lost even though we played really well against a really good team. I feel some revenge for that BS call in the Duke game last yr though.

Couldn't believe how great of a game it was. The Tigers looked sharp and showed 2 things in my book. They are a good, tough, basketball team and do belong in the top 25. Second, they showed how to try to shut down Hansbrough. Granted, there was a lot of double teams, but he had one of his worst performances last night (if you can call 12 points and like 10 rebounds a bad night).

The rematch is going to be good, as long as we don't get spooked by the "Never won at "he who shall not be named" Dome" hype.

I was pulling for the Tigers last night. Watched it with my fiance (Clemson grad) and told her before the game I thought you guys would win. You have a really athletic team. Hopefully you get them in the Dean Dome and take over Franklin Street after the game. JP or Richard....if you guys go to that game and Mike Gminski is commentating again I want you to go down to the floor and strangle that bastard with his goofy suspenders:shotts:! I can't stand that boner!! Good game though fellas.

Theres no way we'd be able to get tickets to that game Nate, its gonna be slammed I'm sure.

We didn't drop at all in the associated press poll which is good.

This is pretty hardcore, you have got to want to win pretty damn bad to play with a broken hand.
