Sweet,

Cali dudes will pick up the caravan in M-ville @ 9:45-10:00.
No need to stop just flip the finger, and we will get the message.
We should have some comm before that.
I will moniter 146.460 and the minden machine.
It will be intersting to see how that does.

GREAT TIME Y"ALL!
Thank you guyz so much for making this such an enjoyable run!
We had a BLAST! More importantly, the lil woman had a blast as well!
It was so awsome to go back on the trail and do a comparison of it, before SOA and after!
It was great to wheel with Dan (espressomon) Dan (Krokar), and Jack and Darcie, and Dylan for the first time!

Ill post up what few pics I got later this week!
We came home to our back yard being TRASHED, so not only did we have to clean the rig, but also the backyard...Not happy about that!

BTW, the wife just came in here and said..."ALREADY?", In referrence to being on the "MUD PORN" site!

Cant wait for the next one!

What a weekend! We had a blast wheelin' with the BBCNN guys this weekend and meeting some old and new faces from the club. Weather, camp spot, and trail were all wonderful along with the beautiful views throughout the entire trail. Here are quick shots. . .

Yeah...great time: Great folks, Great rigs, Great weather, Great food, Great conversation...the only thing that was NOT great was ending it!!!

Here's a 'few' pics...hopefully to tide us over until the next time.

How were the river crossings? Any pics?

Did you guys camp at the hot springs or just keep driving?

Surfpig,
One of us tried wading across the river, and the far bank was about waist deep on a 6 foot guy!
No body felt like getting wet!

Plus: The choice campsite, under the Jeffrey Pines and next to the Carson River, was on the South side of the crossing...

Nial,
Wish you and your family were with us on this one...it was a really nice run. The weather/temps were just right and our camp spot was choice (Thanks RustyDan!) right under a nice canopy of Jeffrey's...with the rush of the Carson River only yards away. And not another rig in there!

Of note...on the first semi-technical climb a couple of the lead drivers spotted a rather large set of bear paw prints/track right up the middle of the dusty trail...pretty cool even though we never saw the bear. And we had a good representation of Land Cruisers, except the 55(!)...40, 60 (2), 62, 450 & 100...with a Taco too!
