That is all for now. I'll be going back in Dec and picking up the rest.

wow!!! how much did you get all that for? or better question how much was he askin for it all when he first wanted to sell it?

Name that part because I have no idea what it is. I'm thinking th blue pieces are for the firewall steering shaft?

IMG_3031.jpg

Top piece holds clutch fork boot on the early style, stamped steel clutch fork.

Piece directly below that is the engine vacuum junction mounted on the driver side firewall that feeds the selector valve on the passenger side firewall for the vacuum controlled front drive acctuator mounted on the nose cone of the transfer case.

Piece to the left of the vacuum junction is the jack support from under the driver seat of trucks that had a tool box under the driver seat, 08/72 and earlier iirc.

Bright, clean black piece to the right of the vacuum junction is the OEM muffler support that attaches to the driver side frame for the 1974 and earlier trucks.

Yes those blue pieces enclose the firewall opening where the 08/72 and earlier steering columns pass through to the steering gear.

I agree with Poser.

Fantastic find!! Seems like mainly early to mid 70's parts, but I did notice some older 60's stuff, like "small" tail light brackets...maybe '64 to '67 (wish they were for a '63 or older), plus maybe some side glass for a corrugated top, and an old ignition switch??

Very, very cool! I don't want to sound rude, but I could use the above, and more, so I'll be keeping an eye open for when you start listing stuff for sale

Wow. Just, WOW.
From one fellow collector/horder...that is one of the awesomest finds in 'Cruiser History. The date that you unearthed this treasure trove should be printed in red in all future TLCA calendars. With an asterisk.
I foresee some huge garage sales in your future. And perhaps a side business redistributing your plunder. You must have amassed a mountain of Cruiser Karma to deserve a miracle like that...congratulations on a dream come true.

I spent today boxing everything up and taking one last look at it all. Took a lot less time getting in plastic tubs and bagged up than it did unloading it. Lot less looking. I did manage to open two small containers today. Pretty cool stuff in there.

Lots of little parts for the wing windows and nuts and bolts.

Nice to see it's a family affair!
Spectacular find. Look forward to when you give us a chance to liberate some of those jewels from you!

OMFG!! that is a fantastic find, when you were telling me about it at Hunting island I had no idea how much stuff was there,,,,, I think you both need to see a therapist,, (not becka and josey, although becka might need one for letting you get into this...) you and the guy you bought this from:D

that is awsumb Marshall, congrats on finding the "lost city of land cruiser gold" now we all know why some things are out of stock and cannot be found, they were all at this guys house!!

you could have a viewing party, like at an art gallery and charge admission to offset the cost of getting this stuff. keep us posted on when and if you ebay or make it available to the UC. or anyone else

truly amazing
