I would be down with a sanwish

As always, awesome pics and videos! Thanks for sharing.

I lauged out loud at the "4Runner hug." I hope she ran well for you on the way home, Jon?

I also loved the "donkey with chicken" on the menu - it's always been one of my favorites!

Looks like it was a great trip, gents!

Fabulous trip, I'll put my report and pics up soon, I hope. Some figures for me:

2915 miles door to door, approximately half in Mexico.
213 gallons of fuel, including 119 gallons of ethanol-free Mexi-gas
$775USD in fuel, including $430USD on Mexi-gas
13.7 Avg MPG
Tank best 17.0 Flagstaff to Santa Fe, 70-ish mph with a tailwind.
Tank worst 9.9 from Yuma to San Felipe (I think I got ripped off at the pump. That should not have been the worst tank, it was all pavement.) Next worst was 11.97. That was about 45 miles pavement 140 miles of dirt.
1 flat tire
5 quarts of oil
4 plates of fish tacos, no donkeys
a couple beers and a bottle of bourbon
lots of oatmeal and Indian food over propane fire.

That rack was very handy after I picked up a hitchiker
and we all enjoyed the awning.

The Scepters were good security, but ended up being extra weight for the whole trip.

Thanks to Dan and Daisy for the parts!

Looks like my roofrack and awning did well on David's rig.

:)

Any my jerry cans look great on David's rig too.

:)

WHAT?! No pics of Pancho? How about Eric and ??? (what was his name?) How about Luis and the diesel 80?

Great trip guys!

What's the story with diesel 80 dude? Did I see a front flare/bumper corner on David's 80 slightly out of place?
