No I used 409 and awesome it cleaned up alittle and yeah mine is the same way from grease states so I'm gonna try a few shades darker who knows maybe just all black. I'll post pictures whenever it shows up.

I have my set some Callaway diablos that I play with but I sponsored some guys while I was deployed who needed left handed clubs and now I've got like 25 new ping clubs all left handed that I'll never use.... So something has to refill the cruiser fund for a new locker.

I'd love to play but since my wrist surgery I can't promise I'm any good

Going through the house kinda downsizing got some stuff in the for sale section to hopefully fund these new projects lol

Very hesitant to let fishing gear go... Anyone been fishing lately?

Today, saw some nice ones only caught a small one. Still a great day, even if there was an impressive snow squall.

Awesome yeah last time we were out I missed a good 3 or 4 pounder on the ice... Haven't been that sad since I ran out of spending money for he truck haha

Hoping to go to pueblo once it warms up again and try and hit some bass in late May.

Well congradulations. I was hoping you were somehow sticking around. New York was not what I pictured when I went through there. I thought the whole state was just a big city. I was a young, dumb, little country boy that didn't know any better. Now I am just dumb lol. Beautiful state I hope you have a great time up there.

I was looking for powder coating in the springs last week seems there were a few guys on Craigslist doing it for cheap but Idk what the quality is

Last weekend's batch turned out great, hopefully this weekend's batch will be just as good.

Is it Antero?

Thanks Kyle, I may end up going that route as I don't like being a Guinea pig. It's for a friend of mine getting some wheels done as well. He got some bumpers and sliders made for his truck and wants to get some new wheels to match. I will let you know what I come up with white tiger.

Anyone know any good places to camp like with a trailer or pop up in the area? I'm hoping we can take out the pop up in the next few weeks and get some camping/fish time in!

Good eye Matt ;)

As for camping and fishing, depends on what you are after. Close by camping near Rampart and fishing (not sure when it opens). River, Ark, has many options, S. Platte R. there are many options. Elevenmile canyon but not sure they are open yet. Taryall is another option. South Park Reservoirs, camping at Elevenmile Res, and Antero (no trees). Check State Parks website for info and City for Rampart.

So I've now spent about 2 weeks with the General Grabbers and I thought I'd post my opinions on them. I have these in 35x12.50R15.

First impressions on the road are pretty good. A bit of noise, but considerably less than the Goodyear MTR (old style) that I had before. The rubber also seems fairly soft, and I was pretty worried about chunking them on the ledges in Moab. The tires are heavy, but they have a beefy sidewall that provides decent protection. This was important to me as I punctured two sidewalls on the MTRs previously. I've also heard complaints that the sidewall was too stiff to really get the traction and flex desired for demanding offroading. I have these on an 80 though, so this really doesn't seem to be an issue when aired down to 15 psi and under 5500-6000 lbs of steel. Also, they are just a bit bigger with the weight of the rig on them, as an unmounted MTR. My wife accused me of buying 37s at first...

I was happy with them on the road, and I really like the red lettering on the sidewall. But how did they hold up in Moab?

PHENOMENAL. These tires hook up on the slick rock. They slipped much less than my previous tires on the slick rocks, and with steady throttle input, climbed everything I pointed the truck at with ease. The weight of the 80 already makes the rig perform admirably well, but the addition of these tires made it look like a rockstar. Chunking seems to be almost non-existant, something I didn't expect. The old MTRs reallly looked like crap, even after just 3 trail runs in Moab last year.

All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised with these tires, even though I was hesitant to pull the trigger on them. Only time will tell how they wear on the road, but they truck doesn't see a ton of daily use, so this isn't too much of a concern.
