John, Glad you got to stop over there while you were in town! What issues did you see with them, poor workmanship, wrong parts or both? Just always feel like the restored 20 series should garner more interest due to the rarity but it never seems like they do well at all compared to 40 series.View attachment 3232577
Longer list of issues.
Makes for very deceiving advertising on barrett jacksonWell my comments would be to educate the seller/buyer, not to irritate either.
Not sure what this one sold for but here are some things I noticed.
FJ40 chassis, axles, 2F, steering box, single circut brake master cylinder for the disc/drum brakes.
Wrong tail, brake, turn, lights.
After market electric wiper motors.

Front non stock 25 shackles were over inverted from maybe getting lowered from a tow truck.

" This matching-numbers 1959 Toyota Land Cruiser"
100%Think this just proves if you want to restore a FJ25 100% correct do it for yourself not because you think it will be a lot more money. For the effort could do two poorly and come out ahead with fancy paint and some chrome.
