Hey Tom..boat vs ship ??? All I know is it a bigg a$$ hole in the water with which to suck money. You should go get Pigwald...at least I'd sleep easier at night knowing it's in good hands. You know you want it :grinpimp:
 
Ya and now your pig is on Ebay with a buy it now bid for 12,000. Dude the two best days about a boat is the day you buy it one, and the day you sale it two. All the time in between is going to cost you more then your pig ever did, GOOD LUCK! That was a really nice pig! Now some azz that doesn't care about the pig is going to get it and mess it up. How could you? I hope he gave you more then 12,000 for it because it looks like a 15,000 pig easy

That's a sweet pig, but the market is so soft right now, no one is buying anything. :frown: There are some amazing trucks sitting for sale that no one has the funds to snap up. Buyer's market.
 
Your right! I'm going to make a offer on this rig. I might buy it for my dad. He's a 40 guy but the 55 is growing on him now that mine is getting close to being done. I just wish I had some insider info on the trade details.
 
Pigwald brought at least $15k in the overall deal....otherwise I would not still be experiencing this sick feeling in my stomach...everytime I look over in the garage where it used to sit...and when I come here on MUD. Believe me, not a moment goes by that I don't regret the deal. Especially, as I hoist dollars with both hands and feet and with some help of friends at the boat. But it was a choice I made. At $12.5k buy it now...I am tempted to get Pigwald back. Very tempted. It is worth a minimum of $15k and if certain vendors (not the ones who patronize MUD...but you know who they are) out there had it...you can bet they'd be way above that number. Only one thing stops me is the deal I made with myself and :princess:. Call it the no net gain in engines deal. I maintain 13 vehicles (not counting scooter, and other small motored appliances). That is definitley a max out proposition for me. Boat has two monster diesels...therefore, two of my rolling stock must go. Pigwald went in the deal. One more will be sacrificed. Prolly won't be another cruiser...thinking one of the sports cars. No net gain in motors. Although, twin 8v71TI's are probably more equivalent to like four gas motors....maybe more

Yes, the market sucks...for toyz (car/cruisers as well as big a$$ boats), but at $12.5 Pigwald is a steal. :meh:
 
Just showed :princess: the ebay listing...she insists I buy Pigwald back. Seems pretty adamant. I just can't bring myself to do it. Toooooo much stuff around. Here are some shots of my last departure ....my expression is the same...even Jake-e-boy looks bewildered. hopefully a Mudder will step up so I'll feel a little better about letting go.

Man get rid of the S _ _ t the you can replace easy. You can't replace that pig at all. Sport cars and trucks and even BOATS are a dime a dozen. A solid Pig is the DIME. If you can aford it, get it back and sell the other stuff.

Tell your wife the boat has DIESEL engines and they dont count towards your gasser collection! :D
If that doesnt work try what they do in baseball:
You acquired the boat for a vehicle to be named later...
Or throw out your weed whacker and lawn mower- they have gas engines!!

All kidding aside, not too many pigs that clean will come our way anymore, at that price!
If you really miss pigwald i say do it!
 
Wasn't me...but I do know the person who purchased it....and I will say that Pigwald could not have found a better home. The individual who purchased it is truely outstanding and is a newb on Mud. I'll let him introduce himself at his own pace.
