I am waiting at shop as they are welding it. I will update on noise change. Others here have done it and noticed no change.

Here is finished pipe.

My ears detected no audible difference.
Nice going. You just dropped 15-20lbs.

From five mile drive, I cannot tell difference even with mud tires humming. Good to lose some weight.

Relocated rear resi in rear wheel well. I used Home made brackets. I have wheel spacers in the back and they should clear in full stuff. It’s same location that King’s resi are mounted. @dc916cruiser runs em in same location and has no issues. Now hose is tucked away and not hanging low.

did the new steel arrive that quickly? seems like you just ordered it last week.

I'm digging the mad max look for now!

Caption contest? "I'm headed to Baja, ready to blend in....."

Any luck on the evap diagnosis we were texting about?
Nothing. I need a smog machine to detect the leak. I think @purdytj had the same issue and end up using smog machine to figure out leak. He end up replacing filler neck.

It’s shipped and will be receiving it by next weekend. I had spare time today to dissemble front end.

Yes. I first replaced the charcoal canister. Still threw codes. Then we smoked it. We saw smoke at the fuel cap, so replaced it. Still threw codes. Smoke at the fuel door area again. Then replaced the fuel neck. Still threw codes. It turns out the new charcoal canister I bought from a dealer had a huge crack in it invisibly along a seam, either because they sold it to me that way, it cracked in shipping, or when I installed it (which I doubt because the crack is not near a mounting point due to over tightening bolts). My buddy who works at a Toyota dealership and I were stumped for a long time.

He found the crack in the charcoal canister after putting it onto the lift at the dealership. For now I've had him smother the crack in JB Weld and it has been working great.

The key to victory is using a lift to really see what is going on and leaving the smoke machine on a long time (we did 30 ish minutes the last time) to really allow the smoke to get into the system. Even if smoke is near the fuel neck and gas cap the leak may be from another area.

Relocated front camera and hooked up fog, parking and signal lights. Now pending control box. I am going to mount it behind bumper on passenger side of winch. I will make a bracket and modify the center skid plate as well.

Modified home made skid plates to integrate with Ironman bumper. Also, added access cut out for oil filter. Control box mounted behind bumper and control cable can be easily plugged when needed thru an existing cutout in the bumper.

Just need to extend one wire and rest is all buttoned up.

@Atwalz, how deep is the bumper? Can you hit the center with a tape measure when you have a chance?
