Thought I'd update this 11 year old thread. We still have the Rhino Ride but haven't used it much due to it won't pass the emissions testing in Boulder Co. It's been moth balled until I can put a new engine in. Well, I've collected the motor, parts truck with bone stock emissions system and awesome carb and were just finished the shop so I have place to work on it and hopefully by next summer I'll have the shop interior and vehicle lift all completed and I can get RR back in the road!
Added some spacers to install my original old school Hella 4000 on the ARB and adapted some Chevy k2500 recovery hooks ($10 from pick and pull) onto the front of the 60. They're mounted to the frame where the ARB is mounted and under where the OEM hooks are normally mounted. They're rated at 8000 lbs with the grade 8 bolts rated at 27,000 lbs shear strength. I like how low profile they are and should reduce the likelihood of a strap from coming off during s pull and are rounded so they will work nicely with soft shackles.
Another prep Sunday for the upcoming Moab training and ATC gear test. Got all the camping gear in the Thule, the Safe-Xtract Recovery Gear in the Pelican and a awning tent configured. And, here's a sneak peek of a new ATC Pro Recovery Gear Bag (hate having all your Recovery gear jammed in a cluttered bag and wish you had something that keeps it organized like a SAR's Pro?) yeah, I made that! Following this T/E hope to go to production and release for OE West!

Good point. I hastily mounted that back there years ago for a trail run and never bothered with it since. I works great for trail leader/gunner stuff but, I mean to install a taller antenna one of these days!
Got the old RhinoRide out to the 2024 Rising Sun Cruise Moab Event. Volunteered as Tail Gunner, Rescue Team (parts runner) and Trash Picker Upper......Amazing time and Amazing group!
The "Original" Adventure Tool Company Test Truck! The RhinoRide60. I've had this 60 for well over 20 years and it's covered 10's of thousands of off-road miles while testing all our ATC gear. Now, the Resto-RMR60 is going to partner with the RhinoRide60 for this duty!
The Original ATC RhinoRide60, a 1987 Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser is now immortalized in color caricature for life! Stickers and T-shirts coming soon at AdventureToolCompany.com!
@AdventureToolCompany I've always wanted to see your truck next to Crase's just for the similar paint schemes, but the two of you never seem to be in the same room together...
FYI I have an extra riveted 40 wheel down the hill here in Denver. It will be the spare for my 40 but you can borrow it if that gets you by for a while.
