Anyone tried Xenopro LED headlights?

Has anyone figured out a way to fit the dust caps after installing the new led bulbs? They are a little off center, so a straight rubber extension doesn't seem like it will work.

Installed main headlights yesterday. These things definitely live up to expectations. Good cut-off point...and have not yet been flashed by on-coming cars, though my test run was pretty limited. We'll see about flashing brights, but performance wise? Wow. Massive improvement in my 2008...and I had just recently replaced my headlight bulbs with fairly expensive units before Breck. The IPF's definitely leave them in the dust.

Can anyone who went IPF show the cut off for the high beams? I'm interested to see what those look like.

Was it easy to install? Unscrew dust caps, remove OEM halogens, snap in LEDs, put LEDs back in socket, and replace dust caps?

How was install on driver's side? Did the battery get in the way?

No dust caps to unscrew. The only thing that made it a pain was I couldn't access the bulbs without removing my main battery and especially my 2nd battery. Once the batteries were out, it was very straight forward. The only difference is that the plug connects to a short cord with the plug on it...rather than directly to the "bulb" (LED) housing, but that actually makes it easier.

Added the brights tonight. Major improvement over what I had...and I had just recently replaced all bulbs.

It's a great solution for street legal illumination.

My Stedi Type X driving lights still blow them away...but...these LEDs also blow my prior brights and headlights away.

By the way...The brights shipped from ARB...even though the box was clearly in Japanese...with no ARB on the box...though it shipped from...and was packed into ARB cardboard with ARB's packing tape...

I have had the IPF Low beams for over a year now and they are excellent. If memory serves me correctly, I installed both without pulling out the battery (think this was before I had my dual batteries in). I did not do the high beams as IPF couldn't tell me if they work with the DRL or not. Anyone with High Beams able to weigh in on DRL compatibility? I will add those if they function as DRL and High beam (2008 LC).

I just ordered a pair of low beams Monday from Kurt, can't wait. But now I'm worried about snow/ice accumulation. LED bulbs often don't generate enough heat on the lens to melt snow, wondering if anybody has tried them in this situation yet.

I ordered my set of IPF LED low beams today from morris4x4, they have a $10 off coupon for $175. Since I almost never use my high beams I didn't bother ordering those. I hope I don't regret.

Ya, for me...battery removal was because I have dual batteries, and also a much larger main battery. Also...I have big hands...AND...dual battery wires are tucked in front near the lights. All that added up to removal for regular beams. No biggie...just noting it.

The high beams were no problem.

I can't imagine that regular bulbs melt snow either. -Not clear out on the surface of the headlight housing. They would have to be SUPER hot to do that...

That's where anti-freeze wiper fluid helps by using your headlight washers...

Can you share link to the coupon?

Thanks! We have a bunch more of them coming on our next stock order and yours will be one of the first sets to ship

I'm in Alaska, no issue with snow/ice building up on them. I have more issues with snow stacking up on my ARB bumper inside the loop.

DRL work with high beams?

DRL work with high beams?
No. Halogens become DRLs because the voltage is reduced to dim them. When you do that to LEDs, they just flicker.

I moved my DRL to my Stedi LED Fog lamps instead.

Now that flicker issue is true of LED bulbs, are IPFs different, maybe, I don't have high beams yet so I can't test them.

OK, thank you!
