Any good Black Friday 200 scores?

Actually, I'm more concerned about long term exposure to the cold. I've read conflicting reports that it is not good for lithium or Li-Ion batteries which is why I don't carry my Makita cordless tools in the truck daily in the winter. They stay inside unless they are being used.

And the NOCO website seems to have gone dark.

After poking around, it seems to be a common recommendation that Lithium outperforms most other batteries in cold weather. Clearly all battery types suffer when first asked to do work in bitter cold.

Here’s a site that compares various types of AA. Thing is...TONS of lithium “batteries” tend to be groups of 28650 battery cells...which I believe are similar in basic chemistry as Zlithium AAs.

Obviously it would be great to find a site that tested a particular NOCO long term, etc. But piecing together indicators of various other comparisons seem to indicate Lithium fare comparatively well. But that’s Only my subjective impression.

Have a look at this example. Again...smaller form (AA), but see what the basic takeaways are. Then? Test a Noco and then inform all of us of what you find! :)

No 200 series parts for me this year... suprisingly. ;)

Everything I bought was for the Troopy restoration. I couldn't find afford a Hercules roof for the Troopy this year maybe next. There are some good deals through OK4WD though if anyone is looking for an Alu-Cab RTT.

Amazon has Hikari lights 20% off. I picked up Lows and High's yesterday for my wife's LX

Yaesu FTM-400XDR at HRO almost $200 off for $399. Picked one up today. I have been wanting to get APRS after seeing its capabilities on a recent cross country run

I don't know how many venture outside of the 200-Subform but this was posted elsewhere. For those looking to get a stupid comfortable Exped that'll fit perfectlly on top of your 200-series drawers/folded 2nd row:

Finally found a sale on the Exped megamat 10 so I thought I would share. 25% off at Moosejaw.com right now.

If you use activejunky.com, you can get an additional 15% cash back.

Enjoy

Ooooh!
That’s the exact radio I’ve been looking at!
Wonder if I’m too late...

You and so end up on a lot of trails together, so APRS as lead and gunner would actually be really useful.

Need a new set of BFG KO2s. Best deal I have found so far is tirebuyer @ $879 for a set - $100 mail in rebate = $779 (c rated)

Any better deals?

BORA is running 15% off their spacers right now. According to Facebook, they will refund your card the 15% after the fact rather than showing you the discount up front. I just ordered a 0.75" set.

Boras are great...made to order (to your exact needs)...and actually cheaper than Spidertrax off-the-shelf units. Super happy with my .75” spacers. Just what I needed...and their only-on-custom-request-every-time approach is awesome.

I was looking to redo my on board water situation, just ordered a Road Shower at 20% off.

NOCO Battery Jumpers are 44% off MSRP as a Deal of the Day on Amazon, slightly bests NOCO's own Black Friday price.

Amazon always has rotten reviews though and often for dumb reasons. Mine has been amazing—especially at holding full charge for MONTHs on end without charging.

I came to post about these being $208 also.

I bought one a while back and have used it to jump others 5 or 6 times. It has not failed once. It's amazing how many opportunities are out there to help people.

Oooh....on my wishlist too. Let me see if they are still available

I have a Garmin for emergencies but they changed a few months ago. Garmin took over from DeLorme and there became problems. They are priceless in emergencies though. This guy explains it better than I can:

An almost indispensable aid in the backcountry; and great for anywhere in the world where you want to track and communicate when there is no cellular service. But when Garmin took over from DeLorme, the inReach Sync application for countless of us became a nightmare. This worthless application basically bricks your device from updates and syncing. Note: I have the DeLorme inReach. However, internet searches verify that even the upgraded devices cannot sync, especially with Mac computers. Beware: you may not be able to sync or update any firmware until Garmin gets their act together.
