And I am trying to get her done before the next cruiser meet!! Just to show her off. But that is a week away and I still need exhaust!

exhaust is over rated run her straight.

Yeah but the local fuzz might not like it. The shifter is finished one step closer.

Very impressive Randy. The intake setup is way cool, and you know I love that shifter.
Will the salvage yard give you another starter?

Going to try I have the controller to swap also. We will see what they say. I'm sure they will work with me. Working the dash wiring now. Trying to get it ready for all the sensors so I can fire it up. the traany lines will be next. Any word from Texas parts?

Are you talking about the autozone order? I'll call them tomorrow to see what the hold up is.

Yeah that would help. I have the last of the wiring done. A/C and check engine light. The brake switch is almost complete. That leaves fuel line fitting and hooking up the sensors. I will have the oil pressure sensor adapter tomorrow. If it is correct I will have my machine shop finish it off. Trying to get it wrapped up just the little things that are irritating right now. Little at a time.

Looks like you're getting there and if the parts would arrive on time you'd have a shot at next weekend. Of course that depends on everything working the first try. I'll call the parts people early tomorrow.

Randy you forgot to switch out the face plate on the shifter. It is a 4 speed!

Dynosoar

PS I think there is also a lockout bolt to prevent shifting to low if you have a turbo 350 or 400 (3 speed) that needs to be removed.

I pulled the pin, Just forgot the indicator plate. OOPS. Easy to adjust for. Now for tranny lines and cooler. And tie up the dash. Then I should have the drivelines.:bounce:

yea the Irving Fuzz has some tricky cars to look out for... like the unmarked malibu that is completly stock looking. has window tint all the way around and down to the AS1 line on the window with lights hidden behind it....

They are getting sneaky. The white Malibu is a killer. That gets em at the school zone everytime. So when you going to stop by?

i will be over that way today. I can after my apointment should be round 5 or 5:30.

sorry been really busy with movin and all. finally settled in now tho.

aight ill give ya a call round that time

that is such a clean install. its amazing of all the junk that is not needed. and after seeing this truck in person it is for sure one of the cleanest cruiser i have seen in person.
great looking truck gswest!

Thanks Cruisin! You can swing by anytime to shop talk or help wrench. I can always use someone to get the :grinpimp:. Glad you like the install and if you need anything for yours to get ya going you know where I am at.

Thanks Cruisin, I wish I could just stop by and help put this thing together. But being able to see the progress and talk to everyone on this site makes the experience a blast. I love this truck and after Iaintscared is done, I should be good to go for a few hundred thousand more miles.
