Another from the Pig list at Birfield. Nice to see ya!

Hola! Good memory. Haven't been on there for awhile... guess that's what happens when you move to the boonies, have dial up and work 60+ hours a week ;)

operation wide track

originally posted this in the girls garage a little over a year ago , but i can't keep you guys outta the loop.

the piggie's getting 60 series axles.

while i've had both axles, i had put the rear under there to keep it out of my way, sell the old axle and drool a bit.

in the meantime, i acquired another 60 rear housing for free, so i decided to clean that one up (the one under the cruiser now is literally just sitting there, i haven't even cut the old mounts off yet).

so, the last couple of weekends (had to stretch it out to two weekends because i ran out of cutoff wheels and grinding discs) i got the front housing and the extra rear housing completely cleared of all mounts and cleaned up. i mean everything came off the front and all that's left on the rear are two mounts for the ebrake cable.

here's what i started with two weekends ago...can't say i didn't get my use of the grinding wheel

here's where i finished the weekend before last. since it will be forever before i get around to any welding, i rattle canned them for now to keep rust at bay.
