Another 80's child to the family

Meet buttercup.... so my wife calls her... After my wife and I got our honda civic stolen we decided we wanted to get another 80s child. they are fun to work on to upgrade and maintain and reliable as I get out. 1985 toyota pickup x-cab 175k straight axel SOA 22RE zero rust Original paint ( faded but who cares!)

Oh man. Déjà vu. I had a gray 1985 xcab a few years ago. Really miss that truck and wish I had not sold her. It was just as clean as yours.

So my plan is now solidifying. Got an old school pop up camper for the pickup... much more to come.. paint truck, camper, custom the inside of the camper, add some leafs, change rims, arb bumper, winch, lights,.... list goes on... Then hit the road for a year of volunteering in as many states as I can, with as many organizations as I can, and enjoy the beauty of this country. I told my wife "buttercup" might not fit anymore... she is slowly becoming the mule. Any ideas please throw them my way, If there are any local organizations in your area let me know, I am trying to go everywhere! I plan on doing some writte up of the trip, I'm still a couple of months away. more to come
