This makes me want to build my 87 mini truck.

Thanks for the kind words all!

There have been many more trucks on the daily driver side.

Andy- awesome writeup enjoyed it immensely! Saw some people I recognized in quite a few of your wheeling photos. And recognized some of the shots from Paragon! And I remember when Alan's gold 4Runner looked that nice! Tellico must have been an awesome place to wheel. And I saw the pumpkin sitting behind Ryan's shop earlier this month- doesn't look quite like the way it does in your photo! And I remember getting a test drive in the later model red 4Runner! Again, great story, thanks for posting!

Awesome thread Andy! You truly are an OG Yota wheeler!

OOC - did you have to relieve the hood on the red 4runner with the 3.4 swap? I've got a really nice 95 behind the shop that I'm considering this swap for.

I expect it will need modified. I saw one in person and there was a hole cut in the hood. That said a body lift would probably solve it. Or lower the mounts?

I don't think I have any photos of any of my previous cars/trucks except for a '74 Duster I totaled in 1985, pics are post wreck.
