So far it is holding up just fine, I have chipped it in a couple places with jack stands, hammers, and other impacts. One thing I have noticed though, on holes that need bolts through them, if you dont clean the RB out and force a bolt through the hole, the RB flakes out in a small sheet. Some places I noticed issues where the spring hangers, where the shackle pins bolt in. Overall the biggest downfall may have been the fact that I had to wait a while before I shot the top coat on the frame. There were some areas around the rear crossmember that the topcoat has flaked off after working around it. The basecoat has stood up pretty well so far. When I did the axles I did both base and top within a couple days, the frame I had an extended period in between the coats.

If I get some time to wrench on it today I will snap some pics of sime trouble spots on the rear, as I find problems I remove any loose paint and shoot a layer of black gloss from a can.......

The product seems solid, it is only as good as it is applied. If you catch my drift.

Seems to be poor adhesion between coats in some spots on the frame, most likely due to the time in between coats. Base coat seems SOLID.

I regretfully passed up on a roof rack last week that would have been perfect for my rig. Hopefully I will run across another one of these days. Damn it has been hot and humid here, I didn't even get out to do much on the 40 this week. I am pretty close to getting the rear of the frame completed enough to start working on the tub, and prepping to put it back on. The only real big things left on the chassis to do are all up front, steering, tie rod ends, yadda yadda yadda. I still need to get it to an exhaust pipe magician to get that worked out.

I have a gutter mount rack that I pieced together that works well. But, I think I am going to bite the bullet and sell my "rare" collection of P-38 openers and pick-up a Gobi rack.

I'm not sure about the Gobi racks, they look out of place to me. Maybe kinda Land Roverish!

Hell if you're ever out this way I can always use help, I am about to start finishing up the bed liner removal!

Just so happens I know this fella' who is a bed-liner master....Have you tried a patch of the "3 dot"? Just say'en..

The only thing I have tried so far has been old fashioned elbow grease, most of my attention has been on the engine and chassis. Now I am getting to the point where I can get the body ready.

 i wasn’t looking forward to seeing this.

Since the Sooners got stomped again in a bowl game I figured I would take out some frustration. I don't know what I was thinking.
