I have an old school M1 we could work on! Ought-6 style!
Looks like I am going to round up some grinding/cutting gear and dive in. Nothing left to do but do it!

I noticed they had covered the rear sill when I bought it, I just didn't know that they went to the extremes they did to cover it. It would have been easier to fix it than to rivet everything like they did.

Probing the minefield to see what I'm in for!

Not sure what bog is, but that sure looks like cement to me (Portland?)

Wow, PO must have a mason. Better sharpen your chisel and get the ball pein!

That is the drivers door sill, towards the rear. I don't know what happened to the pic, it is upside down for some reason.

Yeah but they are all in the DC area, over an hour away. I am looking to have the whole tub media blasted to see how bad everything is. I will go from there, I think the rear sill is pretty straight forward, most of the other trouble areas are flat surfaces. The toughest spot may be the drivers door sill, I may have to drop the money and find a prefab piece to weld in.

I've read really good things about Awl_TEQ's prices and quality... Just for grins, you might reach out and find out how much for the sills... I know he does rear sills... Not sure about door sills.
