Box o' goodies came today.

Too bad I forget what most of the nuts and bolts were for.

Congrats, that's got to be a good feeling. I've been refreshing all day expecting you to have the entire tub painted. You've been on a tear.

I will be on a short hiatus next week, but I am going to get as much of the mechanical stuff done over the weekend as I can.

Oh, and mow the grass:beer::beer:

I have a box of factory bolts that I've ordered that I can't remember what they're for. I'm sure I'll figure it out one of these days. I'm sure I needed it when I ordered it.

2 1/2 days in Western Montana, a short trip through Missoula, saw a bunch of 60's, 80's and 4 40's.

There is a serious mountain range running along the western border of Montana, there is a river that flows through the valley floor that is just as impressive as the mountains. The Bitterroots.

I don't even know where to start.

The facility is extremely impressive, the valley itself, well there is another story. I heard "Poverty with a view" several times to describe the valley. Spot on.

If I didn't have a wife and kids to consider it would be a no brainer, let's roll. Having a wife and kids to consider it is a little more challenging. Right now we are leaning towards moving, still waiting on final $$$ pay rates.

In the meantime I am still running full throttle on building my 40, call it 6 weeks and counting.................

While we are jamming out, let's have a straight up hipster fest.

Interesting pic I found on my phone, apparently modern technology does its own thing. I didn't take a pano shot, the phone stitched it together with a couple different pics I took. (Same pics as above actually)

This is a tired line, but the move is more than money. We make choices and sacrifices when we move across the globe. Montana is amazing and harsh. What makes these areas amazing is exactly the lack of other things we have grown accustomed to. It's not for everyone. The Bitterroots are a lovely place.

Btw- I lured my wife out to Idaho from WV in 2001, she will never move back.

Oh yeah- the 40 is looking good.

I should have an official offer this afternoon, by tonight I will know if we are moving.

The 40 has not received any attention for the last week or so, I have it taped off for paint but I don't have the time to shoot yet. Not to mention temps have dropped here for the last week or so. 35* F this morning when I left for work, 55* in the garage. Hopefully I will get rolling this weekend and get some primer down.

I have to get my paint done before I leave, if not it will put me in a bad spot for finishing up.

That's great news. Good Luck on the paint job, hopefully we'll get some decent temps soon.

Feels like I brought the cold air back from Montana with me!

I have been busy busting knuckles at work, a few long power outages, a few minor electric problems, not much time to work on the 40. There is always a way to squeeze things in though, after I worked late tonight I managed to get some epoxy primer mixed up and got busy. It was hot and humid, wearing a Tyvex suit did not help any either.

Got a phone call today also, official offer was made.

Pics coming soon.
