Ugh

Mine took a similar dump on the floor. Where is the main culprit? The sill?
Actually no, the sill is holding up remarkably well, all the s*** I'm finding now is at the roll bar supports and the patches I did around them. Strangely enough I have found an area of the copper welding primer that appears to be in perfect condition. Looks exactly like it did when I primed it before welding.

These areas are probably going to get a down and dirty cleaning, some rust converter sprayed on, some sort of primer, and hosed down with black Fluid Film until next year...or the following....I need to get those thing back on the road.

It's a whole lot cooler driving the 40 up to the mountain to ski.

I would love to drive mine to go ski. Will some day. Living vicariously with your posts til then. Much appreciated

Probably won't have any good fish pics any time soon, but there should be some good snow pics!

Ain't that the truth!
Yeah, I could only imagine what you would find living in Florida.

I bet it would look like the beginning of this thread!

LOL, it might. Mine came out of middle of nowhere Oklahoma, so at least it didn't have cancer like what you see in the northeast from all the salting the roads. Thank goodness!

Pics of the wheel wells, there's a common denominator between all of these areas that the epoxy primer failed. These have all been areas that I patched with fresh steel, either from Real Steel, or local sheet metal.

The one area that I haven't seen anything fail is the rear sill that I got from @Awl_TEQ back in the day.

I don't know if there is a difference between the metals, or a difference in coatings across the border to the north.

Or it all boils down to piss poor prep on the body guy. (Me)
