Don't know about retrofitting the cooler. runs off a/c system, I hear it's cost prohibative.

Truck import from J A Pan.

Heh, everything looks like it's on the correct side to me :)

How easy is it to fit the cooling gear into a '91 HDJ80R that doesn't have it currently?? Can you fake it a bit by re-routing the existing air vents that run near the console into the interior??

Being able to keep the drinks cold in there would be worth it's weight in gold during an Aussie summer :)

Was it an aussie truck originally, or somewhere else (Japan?)??

Nice rig
Cheers

You might tweak your back leaning over the passenger seat at the drive thru teller, better trade for my fzj80 so you can avoid that possibility. You lucky Bastid! I was up at Waynes a couple years ago drooling over the jdm 60 & 70 series rigs he had (that was before the 80's could be brought in). I'm still wondering if a jdm 80 can be titled in the U.S. Hmmmmm.

Forget that, I'm just gonna back through, nothings says you can't...hehe

Wayne's a great guy. Never met him but got my 45 from him via Gozzard. Shoots you straight up and makes sure you're satisfied as a customer. I would not hesitate to buy from him again.

Nice, even has the grab bar so you won't have to hit Mot up for one :)

One thing I noticed though.. The rims on the rig look like the stock 16inch rims on 93+ LCs, but that spare, isn't it 15inch? If so, are the sidewalls of the spare tire taller to compensate incase you actually had to use the spare?

yep, spare is a 15" with taller sidewall.

Cheap Japanese previous owner, wouldn't spend the $650 on a matching spare rim...hehe

Is there any problem driving or registering a RH drive unit in Canada? Just wondering as her in Russia we have a lot of them and the governement makes it hard to legalize this kind of vehicles.

glad you made it safely. i hope the bed came in handy.
thanks for the glowing report.
got to run
cheers

Once again Crongrats.

I just got my HDJ81 too (one week ago).
So I can understand how in love you are with it.
These things are freaking awesome.

Every day I have found myself liking it more and more.

Have fun eh!

Cheers :)

First off, nice rig, love the RHD. Very cool. Wish I could get one and bring it into CA.

Congrats and no sliding windows

Sorry, what is the big issue with sliding windows? Is it the leaks, which are not that big of a deal?

I much prefer the sliders over stationary. Much more latitude...

Just curious.
