I ordered the rear bumper, took them 2 weeks to fab it. Shipping is longer because I arranged my own shipping. Bumper has been installed and driven for over 2 months. Nothing bad to report.

Shipping dimensions and weight:
Bumper: 199cm x 88cm x 34cm, 81.1 Kg
Carriers: 80cm x 70cm x 20cm, 18 Kg

Bumper metal thickness: 3mm
Bracket metal thickness: 6mm

Does it have supports for the wings? If not, I'd consider adding some before the wings become sort of damage multipliers.

I'm talking about the side closest to the wheel well.

You can place a jack below that wing and see how you feel about it. All depends on usage. More of an overlander, then probably ok. If your sliders are getting a lot of work, then the wings would want more reinforcement.

How are you liking this bumper so far? I’d love a dissent bumper but the price point for mainly looks is killer.

What was shipping like? I’ve found two different bumpers on Ali, can you link the one you bought?

Carry a heavy spare tire has never been my goal. I had 2 rear bumpers in the past, one didn't have spare tire carrier, second one had spare tire carrier but I had it removed. I don't plan to use the tire carrier much on this one. I wish they have a bumper with no carrier. I know this bumper will protect my vehicle better than the current plastic cover. It will work for me but not for the hard core wheelers in this forum.

What is the reason for adding the bumper?

I highly recommend Valleytech. Garret’s rear bumper is awesome. I’ll eventually get around to posting an install and review thread, but I’m very pleased with quality, durability, and function. The price is competitive with other US fabricators, and I had it shipped in just over two months.

Ehhh. I believe @cruiserpatch had some issues with the ValleyTech rear. Not sure if they'd changed the design since he had his but damn was it also ugly.

Patch had the first design. Garrett has completely redesigned the bumper since. It’s too bad Patch didn’t give him an opportunity (which he offered for free) before making a YouTube video.

Everyone that sees my bumper comments on how well it’s made and how good it looks.

That was my thought as well, the pics you posted looked much nicer than the old design.
